We had no mold issues with our 30 year old dehumidifier. We™™ve had this one since January and there™™s mold in the bottom of the collection container and there™™s no way to clean it out. Super disappointed, what a waste.

Would not buy another frigidaire appliance. Dehumidifier is leaking all over the place exactly 14 months after purchase. I could not even get customer service on the line to trouble shoot. The recording said they are not taking calls at this time (it is during business hours). Instead, the recording said to go to their You Tube channel to troubleshoot (thanks). There is nothing on THEIR channel about dehumidifiers!! Refrigerators and air-fryers yes, nothing on dehumidifiers. I am going to cut and paste this to another 3rd party site to share my experience. Gone are the days where appliances lasted 10-12 years...or even 5 to 7 years of use would be nice. But 14 months is an inferior product and their lack of support and no available customer service is an inferior company.

We are using this dehumidifier in our Michigan basement. It has made a tremendous difference and pulls water every day very efficiently. We have it in our storage area and are easily able to empty the excess moisture collected into a laundry tub. The unit has a nice display which is very helpful for us to keep track of the humidity levels. We purchased this unit just after we had some storm water enter our basement through the floor. This unit helped with other measures to clear the air and provide a safe environment. Great product.

It takes care of business(water), in a very dependable fashion. The water bucket can be a bit hard to slide back in at times. But this would not warrant me lowering its rating.

This dehumidifier has a bigger collection bucket than my previous dehumidifier and does not put off as much heat. During the most humid months I need to empty it each day. The filter is to be cleaned every two weeks during normal use and the light will come on as a reminder. The filter is easy to remove for cleaning so I rinse it every two weeks even though it hasn't looked dirty in the two months that I've had it.

My garage was very humid and I decided to purchase a dehumidifier. This machine has wheels to roll it around, easy to empty with bucket carrying handle and reasonably quiet. Operation is straight forward and filter is easy to access and clean. Machine also has a carrying handle as well. Nice design and very effective. Thanks Frigidaire!!

Removes a lot of humidity and has a lot of desirable features. The adjustable dehumidistat works excellent, and you can adjust the humidity level in the room. The water goes into a bucket and, when full, will turn the dehumidifier off. It also had a hose connection to allow the water to be drained outside or in a floor drain.

I started using it on 4/20/2020, it quit working 06/20/2020, was directed to send paper work in for replacement. Paperwork sent in on 07/20/2020. I have not recieved replacement nor have I heard anything from anyone+on accepting or rejecting paper work, No report on status NOTHING! In the mean time I am without a dehumidifier which Ineed!

It pulls a lot of water out of the air each day. I have to run it on low fan or else I have to empty it more than once a day. It's keeping the whole basement at a 40% humidity level, which is just right. I would recommend this, absolutely.

Love this unit. I bought this to replace an older 50 pint, Energy Star, Frigidaire dehumidifier. It was a 1998 model and still working fine, but the cost to operate was very high. This unit is saving my over 30 bucks a month to run at 55% 24/7!

This is the second Frigidaire 50 pint dehumidifier that we have purchased because the first one worked so well. We love how it never freezes up and can be used in a cooler basement space. It is pretty quiet for how hard it works.

The bucket is hard to clean without taking out the handle which is poorly design ( I think can be easily broken if you are not careful... actually they do morning expect you to take I think off)

It is functioning well but the. Leaning of the water tank is a nightmare. Your hand cannot reach to clean it right. Rinse is morning enough to remove dirts.

When we plugged the unit in, it blew my circuit breaker. Tried it again and it worked, except not really, because it only blew cold air and did not dehumidify at all. Frigidaire replaced it, except not the same model. They gave me the 35 pint instead of 50 pint. No one told me they would not or could not replace with the same model. I contacted Amazon, who I purchased it thru in the first place, and they gave me credit for the price difference. So far the 35 pint model seems fine.

We just bought an older house to renovate and the basement has a history of moisture and mold growth. So far, it has been great at controlling the moisture! The hose for continuous draining will occasionally leak, but overall, it™™s been great for what we needed.

I had a 70 pint model that lasted me nearly 10 years. I bought this to replace it, realizing I didn't need that much drying capacity, and this one draws less current and runs more of the time, which keeps the airflow going and my basement dry. This one blows the air out the top, which means I can place it anywhere, and I like that much better than the side exhaust of the earlier model.

I bought it because we live in a basement, and because of the lack of air inside and the disgusting smell of humidity every day, so since I bought it my life as changed it for good, now i can breathe with no problems and the space it™™s so dry as the Sahara desert. Selected for several reasons. 1. Quality-previously owned same brand, lasted for many years with continuous use. I use it in a large climate controlled shed in Florida where the humidity is always high. The air conditioner could not keep up with the moisture. 2. Design features- intake is on the front and the continuous outflow is on the back which is the most logical design. The continuous outflow is easy access. 3. Works as advertised, easy set up, easy to use and logical control buttons, easy mobility on castors. Excellent product.

I own 2 of these in fairly damp basements and they are very good. I purchased one in May 2020 and it works just fine but I have 2 complaints.1. The check filter light comes on frequently but the filter seems fine. Am I doing something wrong? I reset it and run the machine.2. The tub that collects the water is VERY difficult to reinsert. I literally have to push and then slam it back in. Other than that, this was reviewed in Wirecutter as the best and I am very happy.

I bought this 2 months ago. It is set at 45% and the next room have a gauge that says the basement is at 43%. So it's doing what it's supposed to.. I have the fan running on low and it hardly ever shuts off. Will be interesting this fall to see if it shuts off more often once the outside and basement humidity levels drop off. I see it's already discontinued though. What the heck is that all about? I bought a replacement package because it sounds as if the reviews say they don't like to run past 1 year.

I bought this unit to take care of normal humidity in a walk-out basement and it's doing a great job. I use a hose to run the water directly to a drain so there have been no interruptions in service due to a full water tank. The real question is how any years will it last before it dies? Only time will tell ...

This dehumidifier does exactly what it says it does. It is a little noisier than other brands I™™ve owned and the retractable handle on top does rattle a little bit from the fan. But it has performed its duties very well so far in the 1st 2 months of ownership.

We purchased this unit approximately one month ago after experiencing how efficient this brand/model was in a vacation condo at the beach. The difference it made at our residence (in the 1000 SF great room) was immediately noticeable. We wish now (that the unit has been discontinued) that we would have purchased 2 or 3 more units for additional areas in the house where moisture tends to accumulate during hot, humid, NC summers
