Shelf Retainers are No Good at retaining

We purchased this in December 2020, it's a great running fridge with the exception of cutting corners in regards to the retainers for the door shelves. If you open to quickly the sides of retainer pop loose and pretty much everything on the shelf ends up on the floor. The sides of retainer that pop into the door section don't hold well at all, it appears the sides of retainer need to be made spread apart better to hold in place. I ended up using white duct tape to secure, not what I'd expect for close to a thousand dollars.

We are delighted with our new refrigerator. It is so well designed that it is roomy on the inside without being gargantuan on the outside, the temperature control is unfailingly consistent, and the vegetable crisper protects like the Secret Service.

Faced with having to buy a kitchen full of appliances for a major renovation project during the pandemic, we would up with different models for 4 out of 5 items than we had selected, including this refrigerator. However, we could not be happier with our "accidental" fridge. It's roomy but compact, well-designed, doesn't show finger marks, and glides in and out of the space with ease, even across the ceramic-tiled floor (important because the house's plumbing is accessed through a hidden panel behind it). It's a hair noisier than the decrepit fridge it replaced, but at nearly 1/3 more cubic feet, that's entirely acceptable! Great price for a top-notch appliance.

This came with the house I purchased. It has an annoying very loud dial like tone. The house is under warranty and have put in a repair order but they have said that it is a normal noise and probably not much they can do. Some noises you get used to, like a ticking clock, but this one is a no go. We will most likely sell and purchase another one.

I bought this refrigerator less than a month ago and I'm so frustrated that I did. The unit began leaking coolant and ruined all the food. Certified service technician have come out on three occasions to repair the leak but the problem has not been resolved. We have been without a functioning refrigerator for over two weeks, and the next round of parts won't arrive for another week. Frigidaire has shown little concern regarding the faulty product and they dismissed my request to simply replace the unit. I wish I would have purchased from a different company.

Had this delivered to me about a week and a half ago. Was running for the first 15 minutes. The refrigerator was making a very loud humming noise. The noise could be heard from the back bedroom with the door closed! I went to Frigidaire™™s website to see what they had to say about ™normal™ operating noises. They had a video of normal operating noises and this one surely was not in their video. After a while the noise got louder and resembled a microwave oven running. This was not a compressor sound, it was coming from the back of the freezer, resembling an evaporator fan motor.I contacted Frigidaire and reported the problem. The first thing the rep had to say about the problem is that ™this a normal operating sound™. I told the rep that I could not live with the sound of the refrigerator and that I would like a replacement. I really like the features of the refrigerator and it fit very well in our kitchen. She told me she would not ship a replacement because the replacement would have the same noise! I was astounded by that remark. I told her that I wanted the refrigerator picked up then. She scheduled the pick-up for this week. It was picked up by Frigidaire the other day. I was always loyal to Frigidaire due to the fact that I worked for a Frigidaire distributor for 25 years and liked their quality. That has definitely changed. I purchased this unit to replace an 18 year old Frigidaire that was still running and running quiet! When reading the reviews on this model before purchasing, their were several reviews complaining of noisy units. I only wish I would have considered those reviews in the first place. Please do not purchase this refrigerator. by their examples that this was in deed, not normal. When I contacted Frigidaire™™s customer service to report this, the first thing out of their mouth was that this was a normal sound. I told the rep that I can hear it in the back bedroom. I told her that I could not live with something with this noise.

I enjoy the room I now have. We had cantilever shelves on our old Fridgidaire. While I miss the infinite height adjustments, it™™s very nice to have shelves that go all the way across. It took a couple of weeks to get the temperature regulated. We have the freezer set on ™Coldest ™ in order to get it to zero. We have always been happy with our Fridgidaire products and are, overall, happy with this.

I bought this about 3 weeks ago. Overall it is what I expected. A couple of things to note. The lighting could be increased. It is somewhat dark at the bottom of the fridge. It is also a little on the noisy side when the unit is running. I didn™™t buy this particular unit expecting it to be the cream of the crop. Overall I am satisfied.

Bought this refrigerator to replace a side by side we had for 28 years. I'm happy with this and like it better than by side by side. It actually has more room than I expected, and I like the freezer on the top which I feel gives us plenty of room. It is very nice looking on the outside also. We have only so much space to put a refrigerator in and even though it's a few inches less in width than our old refrigerator, it more than makes up for it in height and depth.

This is, by far, the loudest refrigerator I™™ve ever owned. 53dB. Much louder than our cheap apartment fridge. The doors aren™™t smooth. They have numerous ™ripples™ that make it look like cheap plastic. Very disappointed. If it hadn™™t taken over 3 months to get here, I™™d send it back and order a different brand.

Paid $800 and no issues so far. It's been only 3 weeks since delivery. I did research several weeks including consumer reviews, manufacturer site's and other internet users reviews. In general all low to very high end manufacturers and models only come with 1 year warranty. I bought a low end model that looks good. Didn't see why I need to spend more.

DO NOT PURHCASEI bought this fridge BRAND NEW 5 months ago, and it completely STOPPED FUNCTIONING! Motor went out and they came to replace it on December 3,2020, but it didn't resolve the issue! Then the same technician came out again(12/7/20) to replace another part, but the fridge is STILL NOT COOLING AND THE FREEZER IS LEAKING INTO THE FRIDGE. THIS IS OUR THIRD WEEK WITHOUT A WORKING UNIT!. WE DON'T WANT THIS UNIT ANYMORE AND JUST WANT IT OUT OF HOUSE. IT HAS BEEN NOTHING BUT A MAJOR HEADACHE THAT DOES NOT WORK EVEN AFTER MULTIPLE REPAIRS. We purchased our first Frigidaire Gallery Top Freezer Fridge 13 years ago and it has been great. No service calls ever needed. But we just replaced it with this newer Gallery Model as we are selling our home. This new unit is very quiet and efficient, just like former model. We are very happy with this fridge. And also replaced our 13 year old Gallery convection oven with a new Gallery convection model to help sale of our house. I purchased this item in August 2019. After setting it up, I immediately noticed it was pretty loud. After the first 6 months, it became even louder when the compressor worked. This week the lower compartment feels like room temperature, even though the freezer is still cold but I know food will be thawed soon. I have had several refrigerators over the years at different places, LG, Samsung, Hotpoint, they all worked for at least 7 years, I have never seen anything with such low quality as this Frigidaire before, broke down after 15 months of use. I would have given it zero star if possible, don™™t buy it!

We love how efficient the shelving and drawer design is in this refrigerator. We can store a lot - even at Thanksgiving! - and easily see what is in there so that we don't end up with forgotten and moldy leftovers. Easy to clean.

It arrived manufacturer damaged due to the deli drawer not having the clips to hold it in place. After contacting the manufacturer on multiple occasions for the replacement part which we still have not received, they have not done anything to resolve this issue. THEN THIS HAPPENS,THE FAN ON A BRAND NEW UNIT WENT OUT,causing us to scramble to salvage what food we could save from our unit. This is beyond ridiculous!!!!

Decided to upgrade to a new fridge to match other appliances that were purchased. To be honest we are not very please wit the new fridge. The shelving setup is not very well designed. we find ourselves needing to rearrange all the time do to lack of appropriate space. If we have a self on each position the space in between each self is very small not leaving enough room to get to things that may have been pushed to the back of the shelf. I would suggest a shelving option that allows for my versatility and can be arranged better.

I've had this about a month. It holds temperature well and is roomier than the bigger 2 door, freezer on the bottom one I replaced. My only complaint is that the wire rack in the freezer bends under very little weight. I'm trying to figure out a center support - maybe an ice pillar?

This fridge is louder than our previous one. I think its because of the evaporator fan. Also the shelf in the freezer seems kind of flimsy. The plastic shelving on the refrigerator door seems kind of flimsy also. I guess we will see what happens.

For my birthday, I asked for a new refrigerator. I know, weird gift request. But our fridge was at least 20 years old. This little beauty is just what I wanted. Same size as our old one, but the inside design is so much better! I love the big drawer for cheese and tortillas!! Great style too with the stainless steel (our old one was white). I feel like such a grownup! Thanks Frigidaire for my awesome birthday gift!
