Loudest Units Ever

I have two GE Zoneline heat pumps in my apartment and they are the nosiest units I have ever heard. The units continuously make loud noises (even after the unit is turned off), making it hard to relax or sleep. Both units have been replaced multiple times, but they all make similar noises. One unit makes loud clicking noises every time it cycles on/off and occasionally makes extremely loud cracking noises (over 70 decibels) that wake people up. The other unit rumbles when it cycles on and rattling sounds at least once a minute for 30-60 minutes after turning it off.

Was installed in January 2019, the heater works great, usually takes 30-45 minutes to get comfortable, in our new All Season room, just completed construction. Have to let you know about the A/C later. Both sides are much quieter than we expected, was comparing to Motel units, no comparison. My GE Split system met all our expectations so far.

Misleading brochures and promotional material
