Stovetop works well. Oven controls awkward- cannot change temperature by simple up or down- must cancel and enter another temperature. Also, the timer obscures the temperature the oven is baking at.

So far I like it. I have yet to try the Convection part or the Air Fryer part. This is my second glass top range & I love it. I wish the indicators on the knobs were a color instead of just an indentation to show what the burner is set at. It is hard to see black on black.

We bought this stove. From Lowes, and the one we got was different from the show room model. The show room had a blue interior, the one we received was black. Also the corner's of the lower drawer has small chips . Maybe not a big deal but it is different from what we expected, but it will work.

Such a great upgrade to my previous 22 year old GE range. The glass cooktop is easy to clean and no more food falling under the burners. The oven is so easy to clean because the heating element isn't on the bottom. This also eliminates food (like pizza cheese) falling onto the heating element, burning, and stinking up the kitchen. Only complaint is that the timer is so quiet. Wish there was a way to increase the volume.

Some major pluses and minor minuses

This range was bought to replace an 8 year old glass top Samsung convection unit that was having some problems. We were glad we could get the all black version because the stainless steel ones always look dirty. The wife likes the 12 inch burner for a canning pot and we have tried an like the air frying feature. However, for some reason the range came without a User's Manual which I had to download and print. We have also found the sound level of the timer beeper way to low. And, when we first broiled a steak with the door closed as the manual instructs, we got a F200 error and the range reset. It took some doing to find out a F200 is the same as a F2 or F20 which means an overheat condition. This has not happened again but we now use the first open stop for the door. I also find that the oven light stays on when activated by the control panel regardless of the door being opened and closed but that also means it has to be intentional turned off rather than timing out after say 10 minutes or so.

I was so happy black on black is a choice. If I remember correctly GE and Whirlpool might be the only ones with that choice. This is my second cooktop and GE has improved features. Thinking of safety the control panel is higher from the surface and the hot surface light is in the front, clearly visible. With the melt, warming (oven and surface), and power boil feature there's no worry about choosing degrees. Some reviews I've see complain about scratching. I haven't had a problem so far but I make sure the bottoms of my pans are clean, no scratches and lift instead of slide.

First Glasstop Stove

This is a solid product and my first experience with a glasstop stove. There is significant, realtime cleaning requirements for stoves like this to keep the glass looking good. Also, because the handle pointers are the same color as the handle and some handles combine areas on the stovetop, it's difficult to see what you are actually turning on.

After some overspill of boiling milk burned onto the surface, it took way too much labor and time to finally remove it all (even with using the surface cleaner that came with the range)! Love the solids black color. This is the first of my kitchen appliance upgrade. Love the smooth cooktop, the oven light, and the cool features, including Airfry. Haven't gone online to get the manual yet.

This is my second GE range my first lasted more than 16 years without ever a problem! It was still working great when I replaced it but I wanted some new features. So far just as good as my other model. Very pleased!!
