We have this microwave for less than 3 years. This is our third Microwave Turntable Tray Support. Each time the same issue occurs . The shaft of one of the wheels of the tray support just sheered off , rendering the microwave useless. This should not happen to a microwave costing almost $3,000.

GE Profile microwave is great, except for the turntable roller guide wheels fell off after only 5 months! I hope this is not a harbinger of other issues with a quite expensive unit.

I LOVE IT! I was a little upset when the center pin broke and the microwave stopped spinning but GE customer Service was amazing and their call center had a repairman promptly scheduled to fix it. The repairman was very professional and even though the parts were on back order he still was going to fix the part that was re-called as well. The parts ended up getting back ordered again and I called customer service back and without hesitation GE customer service offered to send me a BRAND New Microwave/convection oven to replace it. They sent it from the factory brand new in the box and arranged to have the new one delivered and installed within 7-10 business days of me calling. The company that delivered the new item sent 2 professional men to install the new item and they were finished taking the old one out and installed the new one very quickly. I feel that everyone involved went above and beyond to repair/replace my item without hassle. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

I think this oven takes longer to cook than the previous 240V. I have not used the bake mode, but I am hoping that after 6 months trying to get the oven portion to work, that this one will do the trick.
The oven looks great, but it really doesn't function as well as the old one. There is a problem with the microwave. Sometimes it works when you put the food in and turn it on, sometimes it prompts you" put the food in". So it has a problem with the functioning of the microwave. Also, I cook water for my tea in the Am. The first cup at 3:l5 min. is hot but not boiling, but the second cup, cooked at the same temp and time is boiling, so there is something wrong with the fuctioning of the microwave. The speed cook seems to work well.
The reason I have a new oven is that in the old oven the wires burned out. I have been without an oven since Sept. of last year, with numerous visits from my electrician and many visits from GE. I am distressed at the quality of the product for that much money! almost 3K and it has a problem. I am afraid to see what it will do when we try to bake/broil in it. The lat one didn't work at all. I had it on for one hour at 360 and was making stuffed bell peppers, they were cold when we took them out and had not cooked at all.

I love my Advantium. This is my 3rd one! My first one which was the 120 lasted 15 years so I replaced it with another one. Then 4 years later I remodeled my kitchen and replaced it with a wall oven. It cooks so much faster and I love the space it has for large dishes to turn. I can't imagine not having an Advantium oven for speed cooking. I hardly use my regular oven in my range. Everyone should have an Advantium!

We purchased our second Advantium Oven as a result of the first Advantium Oven breaking. The first one would have been almost as much as a new one to repair. Somewhat reluctantly, and after discussion with the sales clerk about reliability, we decided to purchase the second Advantium. A large part of the reason we did this was because we had custom cabinets, and we knew the replacement would fit exactly as the first. Our first one lasted 4.5 years before failing and it had not been used, abused or subject to heavy use. Personally, we expected more in terms of reliability from the GE Profile tier. I hope this second unit proves us wrong and it will work for a longer duration than the first.
As for operation as a microwave it has been good. Using the device as an oven takes a bit of effort - and sometimes our dishes would not bake all the way, so we mostly used it as a microwave and a toaster.

Great microwave and it is awesome with the higher voltage. Only issue, I have owned for 4 years and the gear/sprocket that rotates the glass plate has broke twice. This will be my 3rd sprocket for this microwave. Very sad for the price I paid for this microwave/oven. Purchased when I built my new house.

I ended up getting this Advantium INSTEAD of an oven due to my needs and previous oven usage. I was nervous commiting a kitchen refurb to this unknown to me unit, but must say I am pleased with my choice.
For future owners I would suggest considering it uses 3 different turntables to swap with cooking method, and the door swings down. Plan ahead for storage to make the experience a little better.

I see burnout stains in the oven under the glass and rotational stand and stand was not rotating, as we were not aware of the product and were not able to understand why is not rotation, now we see burnout stains underneath when checked with neighbors we came to know something missing as its need to rotate.

After having for a month sensor stop working and Microwave never stop even after it reaches the time. Technician came to fix once and again it did not fix the issue. Tech came again and finally sensor part started working. Not sure how long it will work. Already lost the confidence on this product. Now I see turntable shaft cracked. I hardly use microwave and not sure how it was cracked. Poor quality of product. I would not recommend this product due to several issues it has.

Advantium Speed Cook is a bit to get used to, but have used it a lot, and it is great. Steaks to warming loaves of bread, to frozen pastries. Great!

This will be our third Advantium.. We have had two Advantium over the range microwaves. They never gave us problems. We moved, thus we had to purchased a second Advantium microwave. Now, we are remodeling our kitchen, purchased the Advantium built in wall oven so that I may be able to reach it. Also, we utilize the speed cook for warming up left overs. It saves on food that we would have normally thrown away Although the price point is higher, it is well worth it to us. We could have pick a lower price point built in, but we love the Advantium, hands down.

We came across the advantium when we were looking for a built in microwave for our remodeled kitchen. It seemed to good to be true but after checking reviews we decided to go for it. Yes it is a bit pricey but the convenience and energy we save from not using the conventional oven makes up for it. Now we grab a pizza from the freezer and within 9 minutes have a crispy crust and gooey cheese meal. We also can grab frozen chicken nuggets and have crispy and ready to eat within 6 minutes. This oven has become our go to for just about everything over the past three years.
