I needed a cost effective way to survive the summer so i bought this little number at walmart to cool down my 10 by 1w room. It was easy to install took about 30 mins because we had to modify my window space. But it cools well .

This is our second Haier window unit. In the next bedroom is one we bought almost 15 years ago. From the word go, it could be depended on to keep our hot summers at bay. It works as good today as the day we bought it.! Should we decide to get one for our screened-in porch, you can bet it will be another Haier. Always Dependable describes them perfectly.

Not terrible, filter has to be cleaned very often. Also default mode is eco mode, which can be annoying at times. Overall decent quality unit.

Very nice for the price. The digital display disappear after the temp is set. Having various modes is a plus. It looks a little different, but overall, it's a good air-conditioner.

I recently bought a house with an 'add on' room that was not part of the home's A/C system. Since the room is right off my bedroom, I wanted to ensure coolness throughout. Well, this little A/C unit is PERFECT! It's installation took only minutes, and it keeps that room cool and at a constant temperature. It is quiet, and only comes on when the temp needs to be adjusted.(Sunlight hitting room, etc). And the remote control is a wonderful feature! I am very pleased with this unit and highly recommend it.

I use this in my pub shed outside and it is just the right size. The shed is about 10x10 and even in the Texas heat, this little unit does the job. It is easy to install, easy to operate, and runs quietly. The remote is a nice touch with just enough functionality.

I got this window ac when we converted our 1-car garage into a 154 sq ft guest bedroom. We didn™™t tie the bedroom into our central air and just installed this window ac instead. It does a good job cooling the room and is pretty quiet.
I had an issue with installation, but do not feel this is Haier™™s fault. I thought the ez install kit for this window would support sliding windows as well as double hung-- however, it does not. I looked at the website later and did not find anywhere that it claimed to have ez install for sliding windows-- I must have read it on a DIY website. The unit can be installed in sliding windows, but it requires extra hardware and extra work. So, while this error is not Haier's fault, it is a real weakness in the line.

This is a such a great unit. Great size. I love that it comes with a remote control. The 24 hr. timer and the sleep mode is a great feature. It's also energy saving. This is our first Haier product.

This Haier Room Air Conditioner, 5,500 BTU works great. Some days are just too hot for a fan and sometimes it is not possible to keep the doors open. Just turn this thing on and you're cooled off in no time. It is easy to set up and use. I would reccomend this Haier Air Conditioner to friends and family.

I™™ve had this for a month. Use it in my garage when working there.
Cools my two plus car garage enough so that I can work out there in the Texas heat. Noise level comparable to other units I™™ve had. Remote control is added feature.

Now that summer is here my house can't seem to keep up. We were always batteling the temperature. Since adding this convenient sized air conditioner to the back end of the house. We are able to manage the head more efficiently. I can keep the tempura regulated and consistent. The remote Is very handy and easy to use.

I have this in a room which is slightly larger than unit states (says 10x12 room, have in a 12x12 room). Cools to the room nicely still and the temperatures have been in the 80s with high humidity the last week or so.

Just installed this air conditioner. It was a pretty simple installation, it does the job cooling the room, the remote is convenient, and it is fairly quiet... it doesn't seem much louder than just running a fan.

I bought this AC unit for my father-in-law. He just built a new addition on to his garage where he restores cars. This is helping to cool the single bay addition where the new Triumph TR3 sits It's a 3 year project to restore this vehicle so I'm sure this unit will keep him cool while working for many years to come.

We used this when our upstairs AC went out until we could get the proper replacement done. We were surprised by how well it cooled. Not crazy mound and after 24 hours it had an area cool much larger than the recommended coverage area. The remote works well.

Finally got a chance to use the AC!
I put this in the window of my basement (man cave) which is and has always been the hottest room in our townhome. Poor air circulation keeps it pretty sweaty down there. But now, Holy Cow! The room was absolutely freezing in less than 10 minutes!!!! And I didn™™t even have to move from my chair to lower it!
Having the remote was super nice, and now I™™m I love with an Air Conditioner!

Got this unit in just in time for summer, right before our temps hit 100 degrees. I'm using the unit in my garage to cool it down to allow me to work in there. My garage is 12' tall and I have the unit mounted pretty high up on the wall so that it doesn't get in the way of any of my shelving. Having the remote is nice so I don't have to get a ladder out every time I want to turn it on or off. My garage is 450 sqft and is not insulated at all. I'll typically turn the unit on a few minutes before I know I'm going to be working in there. It does a great job of pulling out humidity and cooling the place down to a reasonable temperature. It only runs for a few hours while I'm working in there and then I shut off. When I'm working "in the garage" I'm typically alternating between the yard and the garage, so I wasn't looking for a unit that would make the place frigid, just cool enough so I would feel some relief from the heat outside.

This little unit is exactly what I was looking for. I picked up this little unit because my second bedroom/office had trouble hitting lower temperatures. This does the trick, keeping the room cool and its light and easy to handle. Definitely recommend for that extra cooling you may need somewhere in the house.

It can be loud when it™™s remove humidity from the air. Otherwise it is a great air conditioner for the price and the fact that it comes with a remote control is a plus. Also, keep in mind there is no way to screw it into the window sash. There are anchors on the side but they™™re for if the unit sits flush/nearly flush on the sill. Since this is 2 stories up, I™™m not super concerned about someone being able to get in but I don™™t feel really at ease with the fact that this air conditioner isn™™t secured in the window.
