Not worth the money

We bought this stove July 2025, it™€™s beautiful and works great. Here™€™s the problem and a big one, it™€™s impossible to clean the oven. The Aqua Lift does not work, I think even if you cleaned after every use it still would not keep it spotless. If I could go back in time I would not buy this product

DANGER! Inside Glass panel shattered while cooking

I have owned this stove for over 4 years now. The nobs are a little wonky and feel cheap but not a deal breaker for me. But an explosion on the inside glass panel is a huge safety concern!! The oven was in the preheat stage (around 350F) when I put my food in. A few minutes later there was a loud BANG and the inside glass shattered into a million pieces, including into my food. Had the door been open, this would have blown glass everywhere. Extremely dangerous and very scary. Customer service told me that 'it was normal for that type of glass to shatter into very small pieces' and refused to admit how scary or dangerous it was that this even occurred. They offered to send a service person for $150. I've ordered another piece of glass elsewhere but I'm not sure I have any confidence in ever using the oven again. Nor do I feel comfortable, in good conscious, to sell this appliance. I would not recommend this appliance.

I have had 2 near death experiences where gas leaking in my home while we slept. I cannot afford to replace the stove but try not to use as often to avoid accidents. I love this! The only complaint I have is there™€™s only 1 beep when the timer goes off. Also the front where the buttons are is not easy to keep clean and there™€™s no way to lock the buttons so you don™€™t push them when cleaning. I love the easy self clean and the convection cooking. Looks great ! Had two delivered to me both had issues with convection fan not working and the first one even arched on me.,Three weeks still waiting for a replacement. Bought all 4 Kitchen appliances the microwave was $1200 dollars and no good and they won™€™t replace it came with 3 racks was very hard to insert racks they were getting stuck when inserting for use apparently my fault I miss used it pushed to hard caused chips and microwave arch™€™s can™€™t be repaired. Oh I also used the wire rack they provide while microwaving they said I wasn™€™t supposed to. But in the manual it says some metal may be used but doesn™€™t specify. Call me crazy but they provided the racks and did not specify not to use wire rack. Gave two stars for looks only if I could -10 for customer service and working ability ! Oh was able to use two months been waiting for a stove 5 months! Good luck with this company sorry I ever bought a single product from them have no faith they will last beyond a year. They do not honor there 1 year no hassle guarantee

Terribly cheap quality

Super poor quality at an upper price range! Surprised that in order to remove the warming drawer you need a screwdriver to pry the rails off. Shipped with protective film which wrapped under the drawer so it had to be removed. In this price range it should have had full extension rails with levers to remove it. Nice to get free shipping and the driver was nice enough to remove the box for me only to reveal it covered in manufacturing dirt. Photo was taken after moving into my house. First use was horrible. Tried to cook baked beans and the oven was billowing smoke and continued to smoke for 40 minutes. So much smoke that smoke alarms were going off and I had to open doors and windows to air my home. The backsplash tile and kitchen cabinets were coated in yellow grease. I had to clean the stove prior to using and clean tile and cabinets after 1 use. My beans had to be tossed out because of a greasy taste from the smoke. There is nothing in the quick start guide or instructions that warns about the smoke. I would say 1.5 stars because it's pretty but doesn't deserve 2 stars.

Good Range with bad knob operation

The range works well and the available functions - self cleaning, timer, etc - are nice. The only complaint is the position/operation of the knobs. Occasionally, if the knobs are bumped, they can twist and turn on the gas - which is a safety hazard. If someone were to spark a burner after the gas is unknowingly left on, then it could cause a fire or explosion of the gas.

I have mixed feelings about this range. The cooktop is fine, especially since a technician adjusted the flame on several of the burners. I really don't care for the oven. We are having thermostat problems which have been addressed but not fixed yet. I don't care for the gas oven because it seems inconsistant, I much preferred my previous dual fuel range and wish I had purchased it instead. I like the look of the range.

Bought this range 8 yrs ago. The self cleaning aqulift system is a joke , it doesn™€™t work. I read there is a class action lawsuit about this. I think we are looking to replace this one soon as the electronics are acting up. The kitchenaid dishwasher and fridge we bought at the same time are also falling apart. The ice maker doesn™€™t work anymore and the racks in the dishwasher keep breaking. Will be looking at different brands in the future

Miss the warming drawer

This is the third iteration of this range I have bought due to moving. My only disappointment is that I wasn't able to find one with the bottom warming drawer/oven feature. It's such a huge bonus and when not in use, you can use the drawer for storage. Otherwise, great appliance.

Purchased this with matching refrigerator and dishwasher. Great appearance with the stainless steel black which gives a dark bronze color. Looks fantastic with white cabinets and the stainless steel handles. Does not show fingerprints either. We had requested a dual fuel with gas cooktop and electric oven, however we did not get the electric oven. Using the gas convection oven does provide even heating though. First time baking brownies - they were moist and not hard on the edges as brownies usually are - was a hit at a pitch-in. There is a locking feature for the oven so the area can be cleaned without starting a setting which is nice. But no locking feature for the burner knobs. If leaning on the front of the stove, you can accidently activate a burner. A locking feature would be nice for the burners as well.

.Stove was purchased in December of 2022 and was store in the box in a climate controlled storage till the building of our home was complete. Stove was in February of 2024 and was immediately put to work. Weve had no issues with it till this past weekend 8/28/2024 when all 5 ignitors began began clicking and would not turn off. Ignitors have been cleaned, and the knobs checked to make sure they are in the correct off position. Nothing worked. Kitchenaid says they only warranty parts for 1 yr so after 6 mnths of use we are already having to spend money fixing an over priced stove. Wish my wife would have listened to me and gone with another brand. Just waiting on the dishwasher to go next.

Trust the reviews. This is the worst appliance purchase I've ever made and if I could give it 0 stars I would. You will pay over $2,000 for a garbage oven. Have only had it since January and waiting on hold again for another repair person to come see why my house smells like gas ALL the time. On top of that it was delivered with scratches and any time you try to clean it GENTLY it will continue to scratch/stain. Customer service (if you can actually get them to answer) is terrible and very rude. I first bought my dishwasher and wanted to have matching appliances but I should have trusted the negative reviews. I am now looking for a refrigerator but will not buy a Kitchenaid.

I love our 2nd try at this range. The 1st one completely shattered the inside oven glass in 10 mins of starting the oven for the FIRST time. After several hrs talking to the representatives and days of talking they ordered a 2nd one a week later. Now this is GAS and the door completely shattered. Glass everywhere for a week. Not only did we have to Pay to disconnect the gas of the first new stove, we had to pay to have the gas connected on the second new stove. Many times the representatives mentioned that we would be reimbursed. Or compensated for all of our troubles. As usual, we have heard nothing. The second stove is great so far. And lives up to its name. But the first one was a nightmare and no sympathy For having the inside oven door burst into 2000s of pieces of glass with the gas on.

I have had multiple issues with this range. I have had at least 5 different service companies come to work on this range under my warranty and extended warranty. They have replaced basically all the major components and yet it is still not functioning properly. Oven will not hold temp, broiler is intermittent, when baking the stove top looses pressure and cant even boil a pot of water. The oven bakes unevenly, even on convection. So disappointed and extended warranty is in last month. Multiple repairs and still not functioning properly!! What to do next??

I bought this range a month ago™€¦ it was delivered without flame spreaders/ burner bases and was missing one of the burner caps. It was delivered 12/16/23 ™€¦ it™€™s now 1/19/24 and still have not received any of the missing parts!!! Trying to get Kitchenaid/ Whirlpool to send me the missing parts has been a struggle! Home Depot, who I bought the range from, has been going above and beyond what I expected them to do in order to get me the parts. Kitchenaid/ Whirlpool needs to step it up and resolve this soon!!

Not happy with KSGG700EBS simmer burner.

Had an LG LP gas range from a box store appliance bundle package for 4 years and hated it. The refrigerator and dishwasher are fine. Decided that the range had to finally go so I went with Kitchenaid which was a brand I grew up with and knew the quality. I replaced the LG range only with the Kitchenaid KSGG700EBS 4 months ago and had it set for LP gas. Love the oven but the cooktop, not so much. It is very hard to clean, smears galore. Only one burner has a simmer setting which doesn™€™t function property, even after a warranty service replacement. I use this burner the most as I cook a lot of soups and stews. After a few minutes on simmer, the flames get yellow tips and then a burned sooty smell. I have to keep playing around with the adjustment to get a proper flame. Black soot ends up on the burner ring and under it. We have had this burner replaced and the gas checked. Still happens. This is a horrible burner for simmering. It is hard to light too, you have to go well past the mid point and then dial back towards off for it to light sometimes with a whoosh of flame. Service tech says it™€™s because the gas has to fill 2 channels, one for high and one for simmer settings. The other burners light easily although their ™€œlow™€ is not much different than medium. I would not buy this item again.

I love the stove, the reason for the low rating is the directions suck! We had to switch the orfic ourselves and we had to pull up YouTube in order to complete the task. Because we had to switch from natural gas to propane. This should be something that the KitchenAid people should have done. Not the consumer.

Great Range

I bought this gas range a few months ago and absolutely love it. It bakes beautifully. You get a nice golden brown on your goodies. The only thing I would change is the drawer. Can only store small things in it.

Warranty repair has been a hassle

Stove top works fine. The oven won't heat up beyond 250 degrees. This is a brand new appliance and getting Whirlpool to take care of this has been time consuming and a real hassle.

Beautiful Color

So far I am glad I bought this range, with the exception of where the digital panel is. Very sensitive. I keep hitting it in error when reaching over it. Be careful not to scratch it. , I believe there is no way to repair the scratches on the stove.

Solid Oven w/Some Drawbacks

The oven is above average with its 5 burners and design. Drawbacks: knobs seem to open to easy, allowing unburnt gas to escape (happened to us twice in 2 months). It would be great if the knobs lit up when in use. Something needs to be done with the storage compartment. It's pretty much useless.

The control panel on my Kitchen Aid range rebooted itself 3 times, then went dark. It is now inoperable. We had use of it for just over two weeks after it was installed. Trying to get a service tech to our home has been a challenge. A warranty doesn™€™t do much if you can™€™t find a technician to perform the work.
