Great addition to my upgraded kitchen

Great addition- works wel 12/16/2025

We had it installed 4-5 months back and the fridge works well. I love the notification feature incase the fridge drawer is not closed properly. The capacity is great and it holds all our drinks and other breakfast snacks

Very Versatile

Midgie99 6/16/2025

We have been using this product for about a month and have had no issues. We love the versatility of it. Most bar fridges are only suited to beverages but we can use this for everything! Fruits, vegetables, meats and beverages.

A kitchen must have!

KD1124 11/12/2024

We have had this installed for about a month. Not sure how we lived without it previously! Easy to use and hidden out of the way.

Great for extra food storage and for drinks. Would be nice if the internal divider was adjustable so that there is more flexibility in size of items that fit. If we open both drawers at the same time the entire unit tips over. Not happy about this.

No handles???

AZMom123 9/2/2023

I purchased the undercounted panel ready and it works great however it did not come with handles. That makes no sense to me, as I'm not sure how you would open it without handles. I have called KitchenAid multiple times and was transferred to four different people who ultimately could not help me purchase the handles. Feeling disappointed and hoping to resolve this asap!

Par usual the Ice Maker is troublesome

Waiting-the Hardest Part 6/12/2023

Initially I purchased the unit online (direct from Whirlpool) and it showed up without the ice maker built in (wrong model) so I returned it and (as with most online purchases), that took overly long getting the refund. In turn, I went through a reputable local dealer to reorder the correct model, and I received the correct unit (after about a 3 month lag time - which wasn't within the local dealer's control BTW), but the ice maker didn't work from the get go. The local dealer sent a service person who took the ice make out for service (and maybe replacement) - still waiting patiently for that fix to get delivered. In summary, it's been 9 months getting the everything corrected, and I'm still without an ice maker. It's been a struggle but in the end I think I'll love the unit.

Icemaker did not work

Frustrated beyond words 2/28/2023

After installation, the ice maker did not work. Took weeks to arrange service, more unknown number of weeks for replacement to arrived and be installed. I'll lose a minimum of three days of my time waiting for service. Unacceptable experience

And now we have 3!

Dan McQ 7/18/2022

This is actually the 4th Panel Ready Kitchen Aid Undercounter Double Drawer refrigerator we have ordered. { sold a house with the first] These units have operated flawlessly since installation. We currently have 2 at our lake house and work really well for beer, soda and wine. We just installed the most recently purchased unit in a small condo we own in Florida. Takes a lot of pressure off the upright rerigerator and leaves more space for food there. Dependable and very convenient. Can't imagine not having one in our house or condo.

5-Stars - To Kitchen Aid Support

Bassie 1/27/2022

Our 2-Drawer refrigerator had temperature control issues on day one. Due to supply chain issues repair parts weren't available, Kitchen relaced it with a new unit. The new one must be an updated model with some upgrades, temperature holds spot-on (I added thermometers in each drawer). I was pleasantly surprised that there are companies that still exist that have adequate customer support. Kitchen Aid proved to be great, unlike the other major American appliance company whose name begins with 2 capital letters and now is NOT owned by the parent corporation. Kitchen Aid dishwashers also are great.
