I have had this oven for only 3 weeks and everything that I make comes out faster!!! It has cut my time down in the kitchen. I have used all of the features in my oven and everything is easy. I have never had a double oven and this oven is like magic to me. Amazing!!!

This oven is excellent for any baker! Both ovens have very even heating and it is very accurate on temp. I can bake a dessert or bread in the top oven while cooking dinner in the lower. It is noisy but that's expected with most convections due to the fan. Only the top is convection but it has so much room that you don't need a second convection.

Just purchased a new Maytag double oven. What a great additional to my "contemporary and modern" kitchen. The oven is quiet and the sliding pull out shelf is a great feature. Controls are easy to understand manage for proper cooking every time!

This is a beautiful oven. The lighting is wonderful. I recently baked pies and they turned out perfectly. We just fixed Thanksgiving dinner and had plenty of room for everything! Only down side is the noise. It constantly has a "whistling" sound - like wind blowing through a window. We called about this and were told it is just what it does. At first I was ready to return it but after everything we went through to get it and install it we are hesitant to do so. Wish Maytag was more responsive to the noise complaint. They should come up with with some kind of solution to eliminate the noise. Very unfortunate.

This oven has been terrible since day one...it is noisy, running for ages after being shut off, the broiler doesn't work. so much for "the dependability people." we are waiting for the repair service to come out and (hopefully) pronounce it dead, so we can get rid of it and buy something else.

It functions well and looks nice, however it makes a whistling sound when on. It is different from a noisier fan, as it sounds like the air isn't being diffused properly.

I've had this oven for 2 months now and I'm having issues with the top temperature gauge. It cooks about 10 degrees colder than the setting. I've adjusted it twice and can't seem to calibrate the temperature. It's a lovely design, but it is also very loud when heating up. There's lots of "popping" noises and the fan runs for a long period of time when it's turned off.

We just renovated our kitchen and purchased a Maytag refrigerator and the 30 in double wall oven with Convection. The oven seems to perform fine, but I'm very bothered by the whistling noise of the fan, which is an issue even when not using the convection feature. We have an open kitchen/dining room, and the noise is really a nuisance. And, it stays on for quite awhile after the oven is turned off. I read somewhere that putting a piece of cardboard over the fan can help cut the noise. Can Maytag folks please let us know how the noise can be reduced?

Very happy with double oven purchase. Certainly comes in handy when cooking for a crowd and need to bake dishes at different temps at same time. One thing taking some getting use to. We have open kitchen-living room and the ovens, when in use, have somewhat noisy fans running during baking. Not a problem for me though. Yet.

I love my new ovens, especially the rapid preheat and the rolling rack. It is a bit noisy and rakes awhile to stop making noise even when turned off. Wish the interior lights would go on only for the oven in use rather than both. Very good looking appliance

We paid extra for this oven set in a newly built house. I like the features and the look, but have never heard such a loud, wistling noise from an oven. We made a service request and Maytag sent a technician out the next day. He said a lot of people complain about the noise and whistling but that it is normal for these ovens. Not a very good answer from a company with the reputation of Maytag's.Maytag should address this situation and offer a backfit or replacement.

When this arrived from backorder was thrilled with the look both from a design and form factor perspective. Also heats quickly and evenly. Others have noted that the unit is a little noisy with the fan and they are not wrong, but not problem for our noisy family. I find the delay start and cook time settings to be a little bit counterintuitive to use and took some getting used to. Also be careful to claim your rebate right away whether your unit is backordered or not. Came within inches of being disqualified and had to escalate at the fulfillment house which seemed misleading and not customer friendly. Would buy the product again despite that unpleasantness.

I would recommend this double oven, but with a warning. I read several reviews complaining about the noise before purchasing adn thought it was just people being negative. My parents have recently purchased two single ovens, and you can definitely hear the fan running when they're on, but you don't have to raise your voice to talk over the oven fans. I assumed this was the "noise" and went ahead with the purchase. In our double oven, however, the noise is a bit of a whine in addition to the fan. Our builder even added two extra soffits that exchange air throug the pantry, assuming it was simply not pulling enough air for the fan. This didn't change the sound. I'm a little disappointed that Maytag hasn't addressed this problem.All of that being said, however, I love the look of the new ovens. It's a small thing, but the interior light is bright and covers well--a huge improvement over my previous oven. They are much larger than the oven I had before, so I can fit a lot of items in the oven without crowding, and so far they are cooking very evenly. The look is simple and clean. I receive a lot of compliments from houseguests.We've gotten used to the noise, but I do wish there was something we could do to fix it.

Bought this unit less than 2 months ago. Switched from a competitive brand because I thought the Maytag was a better product. Used the self clean feature Sunday and entire unit shut down. Checked the breaker and it hadn't tripped. Scheduled service on line and they will be out on Tuesday between 8 & 4. I am not a happy camper.

The ovens perform well at baking but the fan is irritatingly noisy, the worst I've ever heard. There is a continuous whistle while the oven is preheating, cooking and cooling. For this reason, I wouldn't recommend it.

I'm known for my pound cakes. My new Maytag double oven allows me to bake several at a time. With the convection bake feature, they come out of the oven perfect every time. I love the oven and so do my friends and family as they get to enjoy the cakes.
