This Range is no good. I bought from BestBuy a little over 2 month. It already have a crack on the cooking area. I have contact with Best Buy said Whirlpool company for 1 year warranty. I contact whirlpool, they said it is only 30 day warranty. It's only been a little over 2 month, already have a crack. Whirlpool did not help or give option to help. Who would dare buy anything from whirlpool.

I've recently learned that the temperature of my oven is at least 25° off. I don't have a need to use the oven often other than for holidays. It always takes longer for the food to cook than recommended in receipes. After recently purchasing an oven thermometer, is when I discovered the temp has been skewed all this time. I've owned other Whirlpool products with no issues so this issue is surprising. Your inquiry was timely and why I took this opportunity to raise the concern.

I bought this stove less than 2 years ago, it ranks as one of my worst purchases. Right now this stove is sitting in my kitchen taking up space. Why does this stove not maintain constant temperature? It takes a long time to cook anything by its heat on, heat off feature. I have enjoyed Whirlpool products in the past but this stove has caused me to lose confidence in their products. I would have given it a zero star if it was available.

Issues and the range is only 2 years old!

I bought this range in 2023 and the back left element is already defective. I now have to replace that element because the warranty is only good for 1 year. Parts should last longer than this or they should be deemed a defective part from production. I thought I was buying a quality unit that would last by getting the "Whirlpool" name brand but I was wrong.

Problems with Refrigerator

So far so good for the range. However I am having problems with the Refrigerator which I purchased at the same time I purchased the stove and also a dishwasher. I am very unhappy with the refrigerator. The top inside light stopped working before 2 years and now the ice maker quit making ice. I have had Whirlpool appliances for many years and never a problem with your products which is why I purchased Whirlpool appliances again. I never needed to have to purchase a maintenance warranty before as the products were much better made. Also the fact that I have to purchase a $200.00 light box replacement is absurd. I will not recommend Whirlpool Appliances again.

I've owned glass top, induction, and hybrid gas ranges in the past, ranging from inexpensive to professional level. Moving to my current home and this Whirlpool was just installed by the builder. It wouldn't have been my first choice, but it has been reliable and easy to use. The best feature is the cooktop itself with a well-engineered warming burner placed in the back. I've been quite happy to have that when cooking for a group or just having an item you want to keep barely warm a little longer when you need to free up another burner. The only disappointment with this range is the oven. It's not convection and it really needs to be. Nothing ever gets cooked completely until past the recommended cooking times. It just seems to be a fairly big oven space that needs a convection fan. All-in-all, this is the best Whirlpool appliance I've probably owned. They're not my first brand choice, but you could do a lot worse with many other ranges.

I had the range for a year now and had to unplug it once to reset. In timer bake mode, the settings would all go black turning the display off - but all was fixed on a simple circuit break for a few minutes and I'm real happy with it. I should have ordered up convection feature but it's pretty efficient and matches the Whirlpool Fridge.

I remember the good old days when major appliances lasted 20 years. This stove last 4 years and 3 months! The broiler comes on and continues to heat until it burns whatever you're trying to bake. Then it continues to heat beyond the temperature setting until you unplug the stove. A fire hazard! (error code f06 e1) I see in the reviews that others have had the same problem. I just ordered a new stove and it is NOT A WHIRLPOOL.

I love my new whirlpool electric range. Especially the stainless steel body. It is so much easier to take care of. Not only did I buy the Range , I got the microwave. And the dishwasher and the Refrigerator . They look amazing in my kitchen. We usually get a different make . This time we decided to check out Whirlpool and was very impressed. I know it sounds like i work for whirlpool . But I promise that I don't .My husband and I are retired and watching our penny's , so we determined that Whirlpool gave us great value for our money. I bought this back in January and it was a nice looking electric range. It does not clean up well. The glass top stays marked up most of the time. The bottom drawer is the biggest frustration as it come off the track everytime I open it.

Whirlpool Glass Top Electric Stove

I've owned this appliance for 10 months at the time of this review. My previous electric stove was purchased in the 1990s. Stoves have changed somewhat in the last 30 years. My previous stove used traditional coil burners and not the smooth under glass burners. That change was hard to get used to. Specifically that the burners constantly turn on and off to maintain temperature. Even the new coil burner stoves (if you can find them) will turn on and off - I find that feature annoying. I have had no issues with the new stove after 10 months. I do not expect it to last 30 years like my last stove and I purchased an extended warranty from Lowe's for the unit. I have not needed to use that warranty yet. I do like the electronic features of the control panel on the new stove - the digital clock has a bright display, the oven light can be turned on and off with the door closed. The oven will display the working temperature as it is preheating. These are all useful features. I would recommend this oven.

Use a top-grade cleaner for the glass top to remove any spills or from frying, and it will look new. I have used the stove for 9 months, cooking almost daily, and it is shiny as day one. I bought the kitchen "set" of the appliances, and I'm just all around disappointed. The worst part about this stove is, the timer only goes off once. It's also very quiet. I've never heard of such a thing. It's very dangerous. If you want to shut the timer off, it also shuts the oven off. The only good thing I can say about it, is water boils quickly.

The door on this gets incredibly hot, too hot for my children to be around it while using it at normal temperatures. This is my second ceramic stove and I am done with them. The quality isn't there at all. I'm lucky if I get a solid three years out of them. The first issue is the oven elements. The broiler comes on instead of bake, full blast at that. The baking element doesn't fully heat up, so I have to babysit it to make sure the broiler doesn't burn my food. My husband had to take the broiler out in order for the baking element to work properly. Second major issue is the two front burner (large ones) starts to cook on high temp ONLY! I start on medium or less, but during cooking it goes to high heat. You cannot walk away from this stove or your food is gone. Having to turn the burner off an on in order to control the heat. I looked into the burner replacements and they are expensive to say the least. These ranges are nothing but looks and very high maintenance. I am so done with these. Nothing like the original stoves and I am gladly going back to them.

I purchased this stove without realizing the vented slat openings on the stove door allow for the heat from the stove to make the stovetop very hot to the touch even though none of the electric surface elements are on. The storage door/compartment on the stove is very limited in capacity unlike my previous Whirlpool Gold Series model
