I have had my new fridge since August and I absolutely love it! I joke that you can hear angels singing when you open both doors at the same time :) It is so easy to see everything that is inside and I love the freezer on the bottom.

Felt like I settled as the space we had was small and needed a certain size refrigerator. It's nice looking and that's where it ends. The drawers are cheaply made and don't slide in and out easily. It's noisy when it's on for the cold to regulate. We have to call for someone to check on the humidity control that is suppose to have a green light when on, and it doesn't. It also has no covered area for the butter and the ice making unit which is in the freezer looks antiquated, you have to pull up a wire to turn it off and pull it down to turn it on. Just hope it will last longer than I'm guessing it will.

Beautiful - but issues cooling.

I purchased this in the summer of 2018. After a few months, it seemed like the fridge wasn't cooling well, so I bought a fridge thermometer online. At a 7 (the coldest setting), the fridge was maintaining 45 degrees. I purchased an additional thermometer to check, this one also stated the fridge was holding at 45 degrees. Fast forward a month I called to have it serviced through the warranty. They replaced all the electronic items in the top of the fridge. It has now been 2 weeks, thermometers are still marking 45 degrees. Could the items be colder? Yes. Are they going bad? No. I guess I am happy with the fact that it is working, per se, however I am just plain worried the fridge is going to stop working within a year. If it maintains 45 for 10 years, I will be happy. I am just worried since there is no way to further adjust the temperatures.

In Oct. our new white French Door replaced a 30+ year old refrigerator. So far-excellent. My vegetables stay fresh for so much longer. Very happy with this new Whirlpool. I wish I had known there are models with an alarm if the doors are not completely closed. I would have liked that feature so I try to be very careful to make sure the left door especially is closed. No kids in the house anymore so should not be a problem, but that is a nice feature to have. Very pleased so far--hope it lasts for many years! We have no problem with noise from our refrigerator. Don't even know it is running.

NOISY REFRIGERATOR

This refrigerator has a VERY LOUD WHINING sound every time the compressor is running which is about 35 minutes out of every hour. VERY ANNOYING! Nice looking appliance but the constant whining noise is too much. We're considering returning it to the store. A shame since we bought 4 appliances in this Sunset Bronze. Guess they'll all have to go back.

Great Refrigerator with Too Much Noise

I have lived with this refrigerator for over a month now. It is very functional and keeps food fresh lots longer than my previous refrigerator. My only complaint is the noise and not the noise associated with making ice. Just "operating" noise is loud and it does it all the time. So sad. This would be a 5 star rating with that correction.

great refrigerator!

We were sad to see our old refrigerator go. We had a Whirlpool that was almost 23 years old and still working!! But It was time to update to something a little more energy efficient. We knew we wanted a Whirlpool because of the good luck and longevity of our old one. We purchased this one as a replacement for that refrigerator. So far, we love it!! It is incredibly quiet. Holds temperature very well. There is plenty of space for a family of 5. Love the bottom drawer freezer. More room than we initially thought it did. I rated a little lower on value because of the extra cost we had to pay to get a smaller refrigerator to fit our space. Refrigerators are much bigger now and the now standard 36 inch did not fir the space. To get the 33inch, we paid about $500 + more than if we would have purchased a 36 inch. Hmm, less refrigerator, more money. Overall a great refrigerator. Hoping this takes us another 20+ years:-)

Outside the fact that this refrigerator was shipped with a shattered shelf (I believe due to very poor packaging at the factory), which I cleaned up and used until it could be replaced. Upon using the fridge, I decided I didn't like it. Doors don't shut well and there is no alarm to let you know that they are not closed.
