I bought this refrigerator a month ago because my old one died and I needed Bisque to match my other appliances and it's a hard color to find now. Plus, my opening space is a tight 36 inches. It's nice looking and I like the water dispenser but the freezer is really small. I'm alone but with a large family, you'd need an extra freezer to hold all your frozen things.

I liked the color which matched the other kitchen appliances. It seems to run constantly, will have to check the electric bill to see if there is a difference between the old and new one. We lost one shelf due to the large ice maker.

I waited 4 months for this refrigerator, because I wanted bisque to match the stove and dishwasher. It looks great. However, it is very loud. I can hear it out in my living room and down the hall. If I had been able to hear it before I bought it, I never would have. I am very disappointed. I also don't like that the ice maker takes up so much room. Yes, I have had a repairman out to look at it; he agreed it was loud but said there is nothing to be done about it. I've looked into acoustic panels, etc., but those appear to not have good results. Don't buy this model if sound is important to you!

I needed a new refrigerator. I have a Whirlpool fridge that is in my garage and it is 32 years old. I use it for a second fridge. The new one is a little noisy and the placement of the filter is crazy, in my opinion. It is down at the very bottom and you have to open the freezer door to change it. May be a little difficult for an older person to change. Light in fridge is a little dimmer than the older one, and it doesn't have a drawer for cheese, lunch meat, etc.

This refrigerator started out fine. About the second year, the ice maker does not make ice. And no water comes in the ice trays. It says to replace the filter every so often...I did, but it is fruitless if the ice tray will not fill up. So, for the last three years, I just buy bags of ice and put in my freezer. I am not happy with this refrigerator. The only thing it has going for it, it looks nice and I am satisfied with the inside except ya got to play around with the temperature settings because it can become very cold and freeze your stuff if there is not enough food in it. And I refuse to keep paying someone to fix the icemaker, it is an ongoing problem, did that and done.

Missing drawer for eggs, butter, lunch meat

I bought this refrigerator since I thought it was identical to our old Whirlpool side-by-side frig. We need 33" wide to fit in the space between our cupboards. The refrig is good. However, it is not identical to our old Whirlpool side-by-side. The old one had 3 drawers- 2 crisper drawers (one for fruit and one for vegetables)and one smaller drawer for eggs, butter, lunch meat, etc. This new side-by-side refrig only has 2 drawers and that is a draw back. This size needed to be special ordered. Best Buy didn't have any on the sales floor to see so I didn't realize until is was delivered that it was missing one drawer.

We have had nothing but trouble from this refrigerator and have been waiting over two months for a replacement refrigerator and are still waiting The refrigerator does not cool lower than 38-40 degrees on the coldest setting. The ice maker quit for a while, but has started working intermittently again. The ice will get stuck in the dispenser area and drip down the front of the refrigerator occasionally. The refrigerator door protrudes further than the freezer door apparently due to having a different size gasket. The freezer door is higher than the refrigerator door, which shouldn™€™t be the case on a brand new refrigerator. It can be noisy at times and all of us are hearing challenged, so I can only imagine how loud it would be to people with normal hearing. I would not recommend this product to anyone and would appreciate it if the manufacturer or seller would allow us to purchase a different model. While this would require me to replace all my other appliances due to difficulty finding biscuit, I™€™d be willing to do it.

I bought this to replace a side by side bisque Kenmore. Because of the color of it and delivery delays it arrived much later than expected. I liked features about the Kenmore better and would have paid for them if they were offered. Again the color I needed and the size I needed was limited my choice. The Kenmore had a space saver ice feature. It gave more shelf room in the freezer (1 more upper shelf) and I had an "ice bucket" on the door that was very convenient to remove and fill coolers or dump the ice when it was older. Also the Kenmore had a meat and cheese saver drawer. I resolved this by moving 2 shelves close together and getting to clear fridge containers to put between them so it is almost like they are in a drawer. The Kenmore also had shelves that were on sliders that could be pulled forward to reach items in the back. Clear shelves on both are always helpful. I do like the design on the outside door of the water/ice dispenser better than the Kenmore's. Overall I like the look of it and I am grateful to have a new fridge.

I am very pleased that Whirlpool offered this color, bisque. It matches all appliances in my kitchen. A few things that stand out to me are that the 2 doors are not aligned perfectly. One side sticks out at the top, the other door sticks out at the bottom. I will live with it. The inside of the water and ice delivery bumps the side when opening and closing. It is slight but noticeable. Other than that I am well pleased to have a smaller fridge, and will have a less expensive electric bill.

Purchased in May 2023 and FINALLY delivered in March 2024. So far so good. This refrigerator keeps things cold as it should and the interior is well distributed. The icemaker feature is well designed. The ice sits in its compartment until ice is called for, i.e. ice does not accumulate and sit in the chute where it could freeze and cause a blockage in the chute. The ice cubes are nicely sized. There is a crushed ice feature, although we haven't tried it yet. Water dispenses great tasting water. Everything works well as it should with a brand new refrigerator.

I ordered this 14 months ago. The first delivery, the salesman had ordered the wrong size so it had to go back. Replaced this Whirlpool refrigerator with this one like it. The reason for the delay I heard was they just don't make the bisque color hardly anymore. The only thing that I was disappointed in is that it does not have a deli meat drawer.

New Fridge door open light doesn't work

The only reason I bought this is because it was the same color as the previous frig and matched my kitchen. In fact, it was the only frig I could find in this color so had to take the smaller version. Delivery was fine as was the store sale rep, however the fridge side doesn't light up when the door opens. We've previously purchased 2 Whirlpool refrigerators in the past, and this one is a disappointment. It's noisier. The ice maker takes up 1/4 of the freezer space. There seems to be a design flaw with it. The auger pushes the ice towards the front and away from the ice full arm, which causes the unit to continue to produce ice, which then over flows. The entire unit seems to be less quality previous units.

This fridge had a lot of negative reviews, but was the only refrigerator that matched my need for color and measurements. I have had it for 7 months and so far have absolutely no complaints about its performance. So far none of the negative reviews I read have applied. Mine is not noisy (maybe b/c it's enclosed on 3 sides??); the temps are at the correct level. The water/ice dispenser configuration is a little quirky, and I wish the body of the fridge was the same height as the doors. But it does what it is supposed to do.

I seem to be having trouble with the ice maker...it does not shut off and then over produces the ice cubes. I'm also waiting on a shield to be put in underneath the unit. The appliance runs quietly. I miss having a meat and cheese drawer as I only have fruits and vegetables drawers.

Better Than Expected

When our existing Whirlpool started leaking water at the ice maker connection we decided to replace it. We purchased this because it is the same size and was in stock. The refrigerator works fine and we were delighted it makes cubes and crushed ice. My main concern is in order to maintain 38 degrees in the refrigerator it has to be set on the lowest (coldest) setting. If left on the ideal setting it goes to 43 degrees. It only has four settings .

Could use some improvments...

Had to have a tech come in to inspect the loud annoying noise it was making. It is much quitter now - thank you! Also, I wish it came with a drawer for lunch meat. The Vegetable and the fruit drawers are too small and not deep enough. The water filter that came with it is not good. Followed the directions and ran through 4 gallons of water and 3 trays of ice and still couldn't drink the water - bad taste. I have to wait now until I order a filter.
