With NoFrost, never defrost your fridge again.

Unlike conventional fridges, the air humidity in our fridges with NoFrost is permanently collected in a central chiller unit. So your fridge automatically defrosts on a frequent basis. The resulting condensation is simply channeled outside out of the fridge, where it then evaporates. NoFrost keeps your fridge free of ice. And removes the need to manually defrost. So you can focus on more important things.

Fresh with AirFresh® filter

AirFresh® Filter absorbs even the toughest food odors, keeping your refrigerator and freezer air fresh.

Close the door on warm air.

Opening the fridge allows warm air to enter, which can spoil the food inside. Activating the SuperCool function rapidly drops the temperature of the fridge to insulate the food inside. It also makes sure that the new purchases will be cooled more quickly. The temperature is lowered by pushing a button (36 °F at the lowest). To prevent unnecessary power consumption, the function automatically switches off after approximately six hours. Supercool keeps your old and new food fresh through clever anticipation.

MultiAirFlow

MultiAirFlow evenly circulates cool, fresh air to maintain consistent temperatures throughout the entire fridge cavity, from the door bins to back corners.

Protects frozen food from defrosting.

Adding new food to the freezer raises the internal temperature, which can result in defrosting and a loss of flavor. The SuperFreezing function ensures that new food is frozen quickly and thereby prevents the other content inside the freezer from defrosting. Appliances with an automatic freezing function return to normal operation once the required temperature is reached, in order not to waste energy. As a result, frozen food keeps its flavor, even when new food is being added.

The "Icemaker Off" function on the control panel is misleading. When pressing you do not know whether ice maker is on or off. You have to wait to see if you get ice.Label should just be "Icemaker" with an indicator when on. Registering warranty was awarded. When looking for FD #, nowhere does it say FD # is FD # + Z #. Otherwise, everything OK.

Constant problems and poorly designed

Just bought a home with this unit. It is 4 years old and has been nothing but a headache. Refrigerator stays warm despite several costly repairs. Defroster was recently replaced and now it's still icing up. Fan makes constant rattling noise. The shelving and overall design is awful. You would think a unit in this price range would be reliable at a minimum. I'd rather have a refrigerator from Home Depot if I could find something to fit the cutout. This will be the last Bosch appliance I ever own.

I love this fridge! Roomy, sleek and it makes the most fantastic ice in abundance! It is quite deep and the 3rd drawer keeps wine and cheese or veggies easy to get to!! The freezer has 3 layered drawers which is not like any freezer I've had but quite convenient for keeping leftovers in the top, frozen meats in the second and ice cream and other larger items in the lowest layers-my OCD self loves it!! My only reason for 4 vs 5 stars is because the doors do not close with a quick easy flick of the wrist as others have so it regularly is signaling us with it's lovely "I'm open" chime. It's not a problem unique to me, no family member or guest can manage to close it like a regular person normally does, but the amazing thing is there is an app that will bing you if you leave it open too long- so download the app!!

Issue prone Refrigerator

Stay clear of this model. Numerous service calls for different issues. 3rd party warryranty plans don't cover these high end refrigerators.. Mfg warranty is around $800. Advise to try a different model.

Fridge is a piece of crap!

This fridge cost over $10,000 and 4 years into use, it broke. We've had every sensor it has replaced, along with the defrost fan, heater and a bunch of fuses. Still doesn't work, so Bosch says it's the control module, but they don't even have the one for the unit anymore. 3K in repairs, 8 months with no fridge and it still doesn't work!

I believe I got a lemon. It is only 4 years old and it is having trouble defrosting. It hums constantly and I am awaiting 4 parts that Bosch told me are not under warranty. It is going to cost me one thousand dollars to fix. Before this happened.... I loved it. I have a case number and I really wish someone from Bosch would contact me and help me.
