Air Circulation Consistency with MultiAirFlow™.

Protects frozen food from defrosting.

Adding new food to the freezer raises the internal temperature, which can result in defrosting and a loss of flavour. The Super Freezing function ensures that new food is frozen quickly and thereby prevents the other content inside the freezer from defrosting. Appliances with an automatic freezing function return to normal operation once the required temperature is reached, in order not to waste energy. We have the benchmark series refrigerator, which was bough in 2017, and recently the upper section stopped cooling although the freezer was fine. The Bosch technician came to simply say the Evaporator leak causing ice ball on back of evaporator, and it requires a sealed system repair, which costs around 2k+. However, since the parts are backordered, it looks like we are expe ted to wait for few months before our refrigetor starts working again. At this point, bosch leaves us no option but completely replace a 8-9k refrigerator with a brand new one. All of appliances at my house was originally bosch brand, but after this experience with bosch support, I no longer plan to buy any new bosch appliances simply due to inadequate support for repairs.

Very disappointed

We bought all Bosch appliances and this model refrigerator in April 2017 because we like the Bosch brand. Our vendor is a RI company that partners with the Bosch company. In the late spring of 2024, the upper fridge stopped working but the freezer was fine. We had one of our vendor's repairmen come to the house 3 different times with different parts, finally replacing the compressor at great expense. This process left us without a working fridge for over 1 and 1/2 during summer months. In less than a year, we were told that the compressor had failed again but the part was covered. A new one was installed by another repairman, and we paid more labor costs.Then, in less than a month, the upper fridge died again. This time we called the Bosch repair line directly. Their repairman came a week ago to make his diagnosis and arrived yesterday with a new invertor. He said the compressor was OK. We paid him for new parts and labor fees. The fridge has not come on yet after 30 hours. We called Bosch to get someone else to help us and the soonest appointment is scheduled 19 days away. This means that a repairman comes to diagnose the problem and then you wait for parts and more time elapses before the repair is made. We could have bought a new, less complicated refrigerator for the thousands for repairs that we have put into our present one. We are very discouraged at this point. It is strange that the freezer is fine, but the fresh food section is not. Surely there must be a way to make our unit work again. We are really tired of dealing with these costly breakdowns and having to wait so long for repairmen to show up with different parts that do not end up fixing the refrigerator for any length of time. One repairman told us that these units should last for many years, but we are finding that this is not the case.

Good looking refrigerator, but problem with parts

Bought this unit in 2017. In 2024 refridge stop cooling. Call for service, non waranty. Needed a part which was back ordered. Part not available for 5 months. I have no refrigerator.
