Drain error continues

A solid little dryer but within first 9 months same issue as previous model (that died after just 3 years and all extended warranty credit was used up on ongoing repairs). Had to get down and dirty on the laundry floor to clean out the sump myself after researching on YouTube, and seeing it was going to be a long time for the service guy to come around. At best, Bosch needs to improve its design to fix this known drainage problem, as it seems to be a recurring fault I've had with two models of Bosch condenser dryers in just the last 4 years alone. At worst, this hack should be in the Troubleshooting section of the manual for the DR - Blocked Drain - signal. I expect more from the Bosch brand.

It takes a long time to dry anything. Also, small loads (which should be expected on a small space efficient unit) do not work on any of the preprogrammed settings. So you most often have to use the timed dry setting and just bump up the time. Other than being able to select low setting, you have no idea what the temperature setting is on any of the other settings, inlcuding time dry. It's frustrating that the clothes can be drying for two hours but still feel damp. Not truly understanding how long the clothes needs to dry can make planning difficult. I do appreciate the light inside the drum and the overal cleanliness of the non vent drying system. The dryer is also very quiet.

First purchase of dryer had to get used to time since was in and out at laundromat but adjusted well

Best condensation dryer I've used (compared to cheaper competitor brands from Asia). However, the trick is to make sure you follow instructions on which program to use for what type of fabric. Otherwise, it will come out feeling a bit wet (that's what most people will complain about).
