Worked as intended but was hard to install the tape where required. Would be nice for a large access panel to access the duct inside the dryer.

I ordered the side vent kit online at the same time as the new washer dryer and stacking kit. I should have researched the side vent kit more before I ordered it. Attaching the side vent involves taking the dryer apart from the front including the drum and reassembly after. It should have been a simple knockout panel on the side with rerouted ducting inside. Delivery men had no idea what they were doing so I wasnt having them take an $800 dryer apart. They also couldnt connect the water splitter /diverter between the washer and dryer to b able to use the steam feature and took the supplied hoses with them.
Overall I can live with it without side venting. Lesson learned.

Instead get the UPGRADED LG Dryer Side Vent Kit 383EEL9001L on eBay or Amazon for $55. This version of the product has smooth curved elbow rather than the less effective and potentially leaky segmented elbow offered here.

Having a side vent dryer can be a challenge. Most homes are set up To vent the dryer from the back. If you have a side vent dryer this kit will give you everything you need. Having an additional flexible pipe in addition of this set is a good idea just in case there are some difficult angles.

When it was time to install my new dryer I learned that it was vented to the side rather than to the back. The parts that routinely come with the dryer wont make a side connection. I contacted LG and was quickly able to get this kit and was able to connect my dryer to the vent-it has everything you need.

The side dryer kit was easy to install. It freed up space behind the unit so we could push it closer to wall in our limited utility space.

I purchased a stacked washer and drier because of lack of space I needed to vent from side It would have been much easier if I could have entered through back panel working thur twp 4 inch holes was difficult.
