Great dryer but less than impressed with install

Overall I am very happy with the LG dryer. However Im disappointed with the installation process. I paid for full install with all of the parts. First about a month later we had an error message about a clogged vent and pulled the dryer out to inspect and noticed that the hose was far too long and was bent and kinked causing the problem. Once we cut and shortened the vent piping that problem was solved. We had also noticed that the steam feature didnt work well. When we had the dryer out to solve the above issue we noticed that no water line was installed to the dryer even though we paid for full installation.

I like the large knob screen it makes menu navigation easier but the screen turned off and had to disconnect the power chord and reconnect for it to work again. I hope this ll not happen again reaching to the back of dryer is not easy.

I bought this dryer about a month ago. I have been testing it with every big blanket I have in the house and it works amazing. I have a load going everyday sometimes twice a day with kids and my husband working. This dryer keeps up quickly efficiently and quietly. I love that it tells my phone when it is done. It is definitely a 5 star along with the new washer.

Great washer

First front load we ever owned and so far so good. We needed a high capacity washer with a hand wash/wool setting. This is only one of three machines I could find. Bosch makes a front loader but it is a compact one. Speed Queen makes a top load one but it has an agitator so may not be as gentle on wool and hand wash fabrics. The LG has multiple wash cycles WiFi connectivity and Alexa support. I only wish the detergent/fabric softener bin would be bigger so as to accommodate more loads 18 loads. Otherwise we really like it and the clothes come out clean and smelling fresh.

Love this LG DLEX6700B Dryer

This LG dryer replaced my 12 year old LG dryer which I loved. I love the new black steel dark grey color and new feature of steam dry without having to manually fill a drawer with water. Its hooked up separately to the water line. I also love the easy selection dials and music it plays when its done.

WORST EXPERIENCE-DO NOT BUY FROM LG DIREC TLY

Product was not delivered on date promised no phone call or any communication lost in warehouse 6 days after the initial install date they show up and do not have proper cable to install dryer so I have to go to Home Depot to buy. Day I receive the washer and dryer LG reduces the price of each $200 $400 total will not honor a price reduction which Best Buy Home Depot and Lowes would honor. Called Customer Service multiple times and they stated we will give you $25 back less than 1 of total I paid. Product is nice and works well but there is no benefit to buy directly from LG they are not customer focused and I will never buy another product. Even after I asked to return the items they will not honor. Waste of time and money. STAY AWAY FROM LG

I purchased this dryer on December 19th. It never powered up. AE Factory Services has scheduled four times to make repairs. First time ordered parts second time was a no call no show what a waisted day waiting third time found wrong parts were ordered and ordered new parts fourth time is today but parts are not here and I expect A E will not be here either another day waisted waiting

I couldnt believe my husband would spend the kind of money on the set and I am happy that he did Once I used the machines I told my husband that we will never use any other machine for he hit a home run on this purchase. Dry after 2 cycles
