Boost Dishwasher Cleaning Capability

The technician walked me through many possibilities for my dishwashers lack of performance - all of which wed tried. She finally came up with one we hadnt tried and it made all the difference and now our dishwasher is working well. So grateful Had to program the rinse aid program to level 3 not the standard level 2. It works harder at rinsing our cutlery and plates and we never would have figured this feature out on our own.

It only connects to the app when doing a load - It turns off and looses wifi and app connectivity after running. Even when turning on manually it turns off after 5 miutues and no longer connected tob app. Support said it was designed like this and can not set it to keep wifi connection at all times. Unreliable dishwasher and terrible repair service

The control panel failed after 7 months and it took 6 weeks and 3 visits from the technician to get it fixed. Thats 6 weeks of hand-washing dishes after buying a new LG dishwasher. So disappointing.

I installed this Dishwasher about 2 years ago. It does a very good job of cleaning dishes. I love the three racks the one on top for cutlery. It is very quiet too. The inside light is a very nice feature I only wish it would stay on longer during emptying the dishwasher. It would be nice if the length of time the light stays on was programmable.

Not designed to work with LG ThinQ app esign flaw

This does not work with the LG ThinQ app. The dishwasher only shows connected when washing. It fully powers off and does not connect after 10 minutes of not washing. Unlike the ovens and washers and dryers which always stay connected it only connects when the power button is pushed and only stays connected for 10 minutes . Support says this is how it was designed

Failed after only 7 months

The dishwasher was great quiet excellent cleaning nice cycle options while it was working. After only 7 months the control panel stopped working. It took over a week to get a repairman to come look at it who only took a picture of the dishwasher and the model serial numbers. He then ordered a part and is rescheduled to come back and try to fix later this month. So my wife and I will have had to handwash dishes for nearly a month because our 7-month-old LG dishwasher is broken. Very disappointing.

Ive only use the dishwasher a few times but I clean Zuri well and I really like the LED lighting a match the task of checking the dishes much easier and also putting them in the dishwasher. We bought this for our new home and are pretty happy with it. It cleans great and holds quite a bit. Ive even had friends comment on how well it cleans. It also doesnt make much noise at all while cleaning. I usually do not hear it at all. We have had a few minor problems like the connecting hose having a small crack which caused water to leak.

Worst purchase ever

Bought the dishwasher along with a Stove Microwave and Refrigerator I. 2021. No problems with the other appliances. We bought the extended warranty just before the original expired because we had some problems with it. In 2022 2023 we have had technicians out at least 6 times to address problems. Now it wont power up any longer with tripping the GFI circuit. LG tech tried blaming the power capacity of the outlet. Our electrician and the owner came out yesterday and videotaped them testing it with the dishwasher and well as other regular household appliances. Everything else worked fine just not the dishwasher. When plugging the dishwasher into other GFI outlets each one tripped. I have been working with someone from the President Liason office I wont identify them in this. they seem reluctant to replace the dishwasher. It would however seem that with the proof I emailed over today LG would have no choice but to replace it with a new dishwasher. Realistically this dishwasher is probably just a random bad unit. I however tape t a good sum of money and should not have to worry about how long it works until it breaks again.

Love it but top rack is a little disappointing

I got this appliance about 6 months ago. I love that it is quite except the done tune which Im sure I could turn off if I needed to It does a great job clean the dishes too but the top oh so cool silverware rack doesnt have any direct spray on it so those dishes are not getting super clean unless I pre wash them.

I bought this product 2 years ago and recently it stopped working. The starter went out. Very disappointed that this happened. I feel this dishwasher should run without repair much much longer than this I even had LG troubleshoot the problem and they did not find it or fix it. A private company diagnosed the problem and it will cost me a lot of money to repair. The problem was the starter had to be replaced.

The dishwasher works very well and seems to get things clean. The top rack for silverware struggles a bit I believe. Overall the unit is smaller than my last one by a bit. I wish the bottom rack silverware holder was more malleable as Id prefer a different layout.

Serious issue with the racks

We have had a technician out to evaluate our dish washer. Said the rack was bad. Got a new one and it still doesnt work. Very slow response to any inquiry. Must of been wanting to discontinued the unit.

Fancy dishwasher

I bought this on floor model. It has more features than I need but it was a good deal. It has 3 racks z 2 can be raised or lowered. The 3 rack isnt as cool as I thought it would be. My dishes dont come as clean as they should but still learning to adjust how to load dishes for best results.

Very Quiet leveling and rust issues

The good: This unit is very quiet which we love. It does a great job cleaning the dishes and the three racks accomodate large loads of varying size dishes and utensils. The bad: wash/dry cycles are considerably longer than any machine Ive ever had. It is super sensitive to being perfectly level or it wont operate. If you are like us with an older home with floors that arent perfect youll spend hours pulling it out adjusting the leveling feet pushing it in and hoping for the best. After several cycles it vibrates enough to throw it off and you have to level it again. After the first use the tub stainless tub has rust divots. All-in-all I wouldnt recommend for the price.

Loved it but started having issues after 2 years

I bought this on November 14th 2020 and its served us well but its started rusting over the last year. Also some of the LEDs have started failing and its been doing this thing were itll sing but restart the song before it finishes several times. I know its out of warranty but its only 2.5 years old seems crazy it would start failing that quickly. I contacted LGs warranty and was told they dont cover intentional or accidental damage from impacts or drops. We havent dropped it or hit it with anything and Im not sure how that would cause rusting. I hoped they would at least sell me replacement parts to fix these issues but they dont even offer that. Safe to say Im disappointed and I dont really want to toss something that could be easily fixed if LG only worked with me.

Hate this dishwasher so much

We have had this dishwasher less than a year. The bottom rack constantly gets off the track and is so hard to get back on. One wheel broke off within the first few months and had to be replaced. And it beeps constantly like it has sole electrical issue. We have contacted LG several times for a service call and they have not responded for over 2 weeks. Warranties dont really matter if you cant get LG to respond to your request. We have been loyal LG customers for years but this is probably the last LG appliance I will buy.

This dishwasher was my all time favorite dishwasher for loading all my dirty dishes silverware casseroles and pots and pans. Unfortunately it stopped working after 1 year 9 months. Where we live LG said they had no one available to fix it even though it still was under Costcos 2 year warranty. Plus we had purchased the extended warranty. Thus I had to let it go and purchase a different dishwasher that I am not as happy with. Disappointed that the computer panel did not last any longer than this.

I bought this in Nov 2022 and it has been a good experience so far. The unit cleans well looks very sleek and is quiet. My only complaint is that the cycles take a long time 3hrs if you select Normal cycle and add Extra Dry which I usually find necessary

Had for about a year and half. Couple of the racks are showing rust and was for about 6 months now. A bit overpriced for what it is but still like it. The wifi is about useless though. Wish you could start it remotely instead of using a delayed start.

Thankfully I paid for the extended maintenance plan. As I write this Im waiting for the repairman to schedule for it to be fixed. When it works It does just fine

Love that all the tines fold down allowing you to make room for anything. Same with the lowering and raising of the middle rack. This was a well thought out dishwasher. Love the fact I can wash only top or bottom and get a kick out of the fact that the dishwasher has a light that comes on automatically when you open the door. Things that are important - it cleans very well and it is quiet.
