Both this refrigerator and was installed in Jan 22 since that time it has 6 service calls and LG has refused to replace it insisting that they continue to service the unit even though it is obviously defective. It was so bad that I just replaced the refrigerator with another brand. LGs Customer Service is horrible so I will never purchase another LG product again ever

We bought a beach condo earlier this year and the builders installed this refrigerator in all the new units. At first I didnt like the smaller size of the counter depth fridge but Ive adjusted to it The size is fine when its just my husband me but is sometimes not big enough when we have guests in our 4 bedroom unit. The other issue I have is the ice cubes are small and the ice bin does not hold very much ice so we had to purchase a counter top ice maker

Weve had our LG Side by Side for a year. Im happy with the performance features. The ice maker has locked up but was an easy fix. I had to get used to the water in the door I kept holding the bottle in the wrong spot shooting water on the floor.

Great refrigerator but not as tough as my last

I really like the features on this fridge. Nice build quality. However the doors may not completely shut but are so close to the chine doesnt go off. Ive had this happen with my freezer door twice staying open overnight causing a freezeup. Each time required a manual defrost. After that all was OK. Id buy it again though. Just want more toughness against those things we are bound to do.

We purchased this during our rebuild do to a fire that destroyed our home. We liked it at the time until one morning ther was a puddle on the floor gauges read zero. After calling for repair found out it was compresser and if fixed was told it wasnt a matter if it broke again but when. We lost about $400.00 worth of food and when I called LG they sent us as a courtesey $100.00. We will never purchase another product from LG the sad part is I thought they made a good product.Also a class action suit has been filed. Pretty bad.

Broken down twice in just over one year

I bought this refrigerator just over a year ago and it has already stopped working twice I have had to have the control board as well as the generator replaced. I have lost so much food as both the refrigerator and freezer stopped cooling after freezing all the food in the refrigerator. I have been extremely dispaointed with this purchase as you can imagine.

Our refrigerator had given us 18+ good years. Even had butterfly stickers on it to cover a couple rusty spots while the unit itself continued to work. We figured we were on borrowed time and began to appliance shop. We looked at the LG styles among other brands but kept coming back to the LG 22 cu. ft. during 3 shopping trips. It is now ours and we love it. We have the model with the knock/knock door panel and its quite helpful as well as stylish. There are specialized ice cubes as well as cubed and shaved ice features. Plenty of room for our use and any small smudges on the finish easily rub off with a dish towel. There are wi-fi features associated with our model but to be honest we havent explored that angle yet. Younger folks would for sure. Anyway so far so good. Were happy with our purchase our salespersons recommendation associated warranty and the price.

Nice refrigerator with some great features

This is a great refrigerator that has some nice features. The compact size was just right for our kitchen. Has plenty of room in both fridge and freezer for us. We saw the consumer reports rating for this fridge in the store and are very happy with this. Only thing we have seen that could be a takeaway is the ice and water dispenser needs to have your glass close to it or it may spill a bit. This is no worry though...especially being aware this may happen...thumbs up on this purchase

This frig has not worked since day one. Replaced electronic boards. Still does not work. AE came 3 times. Still does not work. Sent Kevins appliance. Wanted to install another electronic board. Styling nice compressors not so nice. Compressors are not reliable on this model. 1st compressor died the 1st year of ownership. Now in 5th treat compressor did the same thing dead No service company but 1 in our area will work on LG and they cant service us until middle of next month. Will not recommend anyone buy a LG fridge due to compressor failure no compensation for loss food and no relief in site. Very frustrating.
