I had this washer for only about 3 years be it gave me a de1 error code. I looked at different issues and it was the control board that is the issue. I only had this washer for 3 years and I need to replace the control board and it is not cheap. LG needs to fix this issues as I see others having the same issue as well with this specific model no wonder it is discontinued.

This machine is fantastic at washing clothes. It doesnt matter if its a small or super large load. It has a lot of features like sanitizing heavy-duty allergiene bedding normal bright whites tub clean and a lot more. The WIFI feature signals when the cycle is complete. We are very pleased with our washing machine so far.

Washer works okay but circuit board is bad

We bought this washer in March 2020. The outer tub made of plastic failed and the counterweight disconnected causing the unit to vibrate wildly and make loud noise. LG covered nothing under its warranty. A reputable appliance service company evaluated it and the bid to repair was more than buying a new washer. The service tech said the plastic outer tube was poor quality and LG longer offers that unit.

Ive had this washer for almost 3 years now. I liked it a lot but always wished there was a spin only cycle. I figured if I ever got around to downloading the ThinQ app and connecting it I could download a spin only cycle. A couple months ago we began noticing water leaking. Repair person came twice and couldnt find the leak so I finally download the app to see if the Smart Diagnosis would tell me anything. It didnt and theres no spin only cycle to download either.

I bought this product just over 3 years ago. It has been broken for over a month and the repair man is unable to fix it. It first displayed a UR code and then began cycling really loud. It is unable to be repaired. I tried working with LG and was told it is to far out of warranty and there is nothing they can do. Prior to getting this response I was given the run around for 2 weeks. I will never purchase another LG product.

Poor product. LG new washing machine rusting

I bought the LG wash machine and within 2 years we began to notice the top front part began to rust. It grew slowly within the paint and we were surprised to see one day the whole thing getting peeled off. Too bad LG says these things are not covered under the warranty even though it can be established that the rust grew over several months and existed due a paint defect .

Nonstop issue after issue

We purchased this system and within less than 2 years it started violently shaking during spin cycles. A tech opened up the unit and found that one of the counterweights was not manufactured correctly - instead of solid concrete like the other counterweight in the unit it was made of metallic powder that had exploded all over the unit. Also when looking at the unit the user interface panel somehow just stopped working despite having power. Overall this unit and LG customer service has been a complete nightmare. I would not recommend purchasing this unit.

This is my second LG front load stackable washer and dryer. The first set was red and played a little tune for a signal. This set is silver/grey and also play a tune. The dryer works with steam and washer has Fresh Care steam. I have white towels and sheets and they come out perfect even dirty dog mud towels.

From day one it has leaked a little water from the door. Customer service said to wipe clean the door seal but that hasnt worked. They said they would have a repairman call but there was never any call. It does a great job of cleaning and I love the look so I am putting up with the leak since it is now past warranty.
