Quiet and gets the job done. Easy to load and unload. Couldn't ask for a better dryer. We have put some big loads in just to see how much it can handle . Without fail everything has come out dry the first time and without having to put something back in to dry completely.

This dryer has huge internal space which is insane. This dryer is an extra large capacity dryer. This dryer can dry 2 comforters in at same time and both come out very dry in no time. The modern and sleek design gives the laundry room the updated look . It has lot of cycles and settings to choose from depending on what you are drying. This dryer is super quiet without any loud noises, and no vibration at all. With the Smart Control this washer sends push notifications when a cycle is complete to your Smart Things app on phone. Eco Dry setting is worth mentioning as it saves money due to less energy use. Don't get confused by the longer run time. The removeable drying rack that comes with the washer is very helpful in drying shoes or anything that doesn't need tumbling around. Drum light was very helpful. Innovative lint filter holds long due to large capacity and also it is very easy to empty it out. I didn't had to use it, but the reversible door as explained by the installer sounds helpful in cramped laundry rooms. Nice smart dryer from Samsung.

I am in love with my new dryer. It matches perfectly with my Samsung washing machine. I love the fact that it has sensor dry technology. I do not have to worry about leaving my clothes in the dryer for too long. Plus it has wifi connectivity to alert me on my cell phone that my clothes are done. Love it!

I am loving all of the features that this Samsung dryer offers!! The included accessories and program features make drying clothes, stuffed animals, towels, and more a breeze!
My favorite feature had to be the dry-sensing technology! This feature senses how dry items are and tailors a cycle to match the needs of the load. In comparison to cycles with my previous dryer, Samsun cycles are shorter, which saves me time and money!
I also love the rack accessory that was included. This white rack goes inside of the dryer when drying stuffed animals or shoes. As a mother of young boys, I am definitely in the situation where I need to wash and dry more than just clothes and towels. In the past, stuffed animals would come out of the dryer tattered and misshapen. She was with Clinger Round making a ridiculous amount of noise during the cycle and never come out looking quite the same. These are no longer problems with the Samsung dryer and the included accessory. This rack allows shoes and stuffed animals to remain stationary while still being able to be dried.

This dryer has made drying clothes so much easier and taken the stress out of ruining my families clothes. The drying level sensor has been a huge addition that I have loved using. Being able to choose to dry delicate clothes and finish drying them flat or trusting the dryer is a relief compared to my previous dryers that worked on timers. The Samsung app has been amazing to use and set times and manage my washer and dryer while doing other chores. The drying rack for delicate items like our youngest stuffed animals and wife's sweaters has been a nice tool to use and keep them looking nice. The sanitizer and activewear settings have been a nice addition to accomplish drying certain items and killing germs on our clothes. The design of the lint trap is different than anything I have ever seen but catches so much more lint than I have seen before. When I empty it there is not a ton of lint under it that is being routed into the vent which is amazing and I am impressed. Samsung did a great job with this dryer and our family is a huge fan.

I do a lot of laundry and I prefer to dry our clothes on delicate, my last dryer I would have to start again and again but this dryer actually gets them dry in the 25 minutes it takes for the delicate cycle! I really like how many options it has for drying cycles! It's quick and efficient. The vent is easy access and easy to clean. The dryer is quiet and I love the little song when it's finished! I would definitely recommend if you are in need of a new dryer!

Smart or not this works pretty well and dries my clothes efficiently.
I like the sanitize function whoch really gives a nice clean to the clothes. It has a good capacity which is very good and works very well for my family of 4.
It has a sleek and modern design which looks gorgeous and does not give a bulky feel at all.
I like the musical reminder it give once the cycle is complete. I absolutely love that the dryer door is reversible whoch makes it so much more convinient to change as per my liking. I have synced it to my phone so I get a notification once the cycle is complete. I can basically manage the dryer settings from the tip of my phone which is very necessary as my laundry room is downstairs. One more interesting feature is that it remembers my most recently used setting so I do not have to think each time to choose or change settings. All in all a very good product.

We got this dryer as a matching set to our washer. And I wanted to mention that the capacity on this is HUGE compared to comparative dryers that share the same footprint as this. With the wifi functionality we're able to start our laundry at off peak hours to save on electricity costs and adjust to having drying completed when we need.
Lastly, the dry cleaning feature on this has more than made up for the purchase price of the dryer after just a few months of use. Our monthly dry cleaning bill has gone done by almost a half! The steam sanitize is an amazing feature and we're slowly leaning to using it for everything with how efficient and fresh it leaves things!
Overall we're happy with our purchase and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to our friends!

Our last washer was 'smart'...but man was it frustrating. Not so with this one! We were able to set it up and connect it with SmartThings in < 5 min. Now alerts for cycles completions audibly alert us on our smart speakers, a popup on our Samsung TV and notifications on our phones. It also does the 'old fashioned' play-a-little-tune alert on the washer itself, but to be honest, kind of wish it could be disabled (or, if it can, haven't figured that out yet). All of the cycles we have use have worked great, and it was really nice to dry some wet winter boots on the rack thing that can be inserted so they're not thumping around in there. Besides the too-long end of cycle tune, no real complaints with it, though, I will say it seems as though the moisture sensor leans a bit towards the 'not dry' side sometimes.

As an exceptional companion to the Samsung 5.0 Cu. Ft. Extra-Large Capacity Smart Front Load Washer, the Samsung 7.5 cu. ft. Smart Electric Dryer matches the extra capacity of the washed items to dry in ranges of drying methods and times. Three types of drying tests were completed and compared to my previous experiences in using both residential and commercial machines. The first run what's to measure the capability of drying time for a thick double blanket and to see whether or not it would dry properly. It was dried under the regular cycle and when it came out of the dryer initially certain parts I was expected to be damp because even though it is a large enough capacity to try a double thick blanket, I knew that it will probably ball up during the cycle. So I would check in about halfway through to see if I could flip the blanket inside out and I did this about 3 times throughout the cycle every half an hour or so. Indiana when it came out it was mostly dry. There were damp areas and it did need to be let out open to air-dry. Although unfortunately did not dry it as well as I would have liked, what was impressive was that the item came out mostly dry and wet it finally did dry it was clean and crisp. The second run was for a pair of sneakers and I used the provided detachable rack that came in with the machine. I put the two sneakers on top of it and although I washed it with the towels I did not dry them with the towels. It was just drying for the shoot only. It ran on a regular cycle and unfortunately by the time it's finished the run the shoes were not dry and the interior was still moist to the touch but not wet. Interesting Lee enough, even though the idea of being able to dry your shoes in the dryer without a clunking around the dryer is a great idea, I don't think it actually had the strong enough capacity to be able to dry the shoes thoroughly. Once I get another item that had to be out of the dryer are dry to finish drying. The last were the bath towels, washed at almost to 75% capacity of the extra capacity washer. These towels did dry very well and crisp, perhaps because I followed the special notch in a selection knob preselected for towel drying. Overall the experience was great and I would highly recommended as a great companion to the washer. For the other items that didn't dry completely, I may want to consider extending the drawing time to see if it would work better in the future.

This dryer is so efficient dries very quickly and what surprised me is that the clothes are not so hairy The preset settings are helpful, but I love that you can still customize them to your needs. Another thing I love is about it is how quiet it is, I tend to do laundry when everyone is in bed and with this dryer I don't have to worry about it waking anyone.

I was not expecting much at first, after all it is just a dryer. Well, this is the dryer I didn't know I needed. The design is very modern and sleek. Who thought appliances could look pretty? I was a bit overwhelmed at first with so many different features, but it is so easy to use. The preset settings are helpful, but I love that you can still customize them to your needs. Another thing I love is about it is how quiet it is, I tend to do laundry when everyone is in bed and with this dryer I don't have to worry about it waking anyone up while getting my laundry done.

This dryer was super quick to setup and is very easy to operate. I have an option to chose from multiple dryness settings. The dryer has huge capacity and looks elegant. Like the washer, it can be operated remotely via an app. The dryer does a good job drying my clothes in considerably less time. It makes very less noise when operating. This dryer is energy efficient and hence more friendly to use.

Nice smart dryer from Samsung. This dryer has the same overall outer dimensions of our old one, but the internal space is insane. In our old dryer we could only fit one king comforter, and it would take several cycles to dry. In this unit, we can put 2 comforters in and both come out very dry in no time.The overall design is sleek, modern, and has definitely given my older laundry room the updated look it has needed. This dryer is super quiet without any loud and banging noises, and no vibration at all. Similar to my review of the washer, very easy to set up, and within 5 minutes I was off and running. It also plays the annoying song when it;s done that I wish i could turn off.
There is so much variety available in the cycles, and you can customize most of them. I do feel like the dryness censor is a little sensitive because i will start it on Normal, and within minutes it will say it is complete. When you feel the items, there is moisture. Part of the issue is that the washer spin really rings out the contents, which leaves me to hope that the dryer fluffed items up a little bit more.
I have to still explore some of my settings and set some customer cycles, bu I am amazed with how clean this machine remains. My household has a lot of hair in it, and if you see in my photos, the lint trap is top notch. Always forming in the 2 rectangles first, then some minor excess on the outer portions. But very east to clean out. The second photo is a view of the shoot where the lint trap sits. After nearly 5 weeks, there is nothing in it! I used to have to get special tools, a shop vac, and some patience to try to get lint build up out of my old one I can also tell that this aby has some power because my vent outside never made so much vapor clouds with my old set up.
The smart system even knows that you just washed, and sets the dryer cycle to match, all you have to do is hit start!
My only draw backs are that I think items need to enter the dryer with slightly more moisture to help the dryer pull the hair off my clothes, so I might be able to fix that with the washer. And, that If I wanted my clothes to be prefect, I would have to selectively add items back in to run specific cycles get wrinkles out. The typical dry cycle seems a bit stale for my liking.
All in all this machine knocks it out of the part for me and is a great complement to the washer, I would recommend anyone of any style household to buy!

Fits All Our Needs For A Family of 5

We have owned the washer and dryer set for 2 weeks now and they have worked great for all our needs. We are a family of 5 with 3 little ones and this set has been able to keep up with the toughest of washes for us. The tumbler for this dryer isn't super large, but it gets the job done for most all the loads we were doing to get caught up with since our previous set completely shut down on us 6 weeks before these arrived. I feel the heating element is perfect for any size drying load we have had to push through this machine in the last couple weeks. We've been able to dry medium sized comforters, large standard clothes loads and shoes without any issues. It has met our expectations across the board. It's very user friendly to get up and going right away without a lot of learning that is needed. The only thing that we found to be a small pain was that it does not save the settings from the previous dry, so this needs to be adjusted every time or you find yourself drying a setting that may not match the load. Outside of that we love the drying times and efficiency on this dryer. Would recommend this for anyone who is looking to get a new washer & dryer set!

The speed of this dryer is what caught my attention first. That combined with how quietly it runs make this the perfect match for our washer.
Also, the capacity is great. Some in my family like to wait until they have nothing to wear and fill the washer to the top. This in turn becomes a very large load for our dryer, but the time to dry is never excessive.
Because we've only had the machine for a short time, we have not come close to trying all of the features, but we are pretty impressed with what we've been able to try so far.
This machine will do anything the newer machines will do, but what stands out most is how quiet it is. Our laundry room is next to our kitchen which is where most of my family gathers. It's nice to be able to run load and not worry about the noise.
I haven't fully tried all the "smart" features, but I do like the delayed start and the end of cycle notification. Like most we lead a busy life and these two features help us to be as efficient as possible.
What I like about the delayed cycle is I can time my clothes to complete at a certain time. That way if I'm not able to get back to a load for several hours I can time it so the dryer completes at about the time I'm ready to fold. This way the clothes are less likely to wrinkle.
Another feature I like is the steam. I almost always use this feature if I have any ironing to do. If I steam the clothes first Ironing is much easier.
Bottom line is so-far, so-good. The machine has definitely lived up to our expectations!

My previous dryer was 14 years old when I bought this one. I am amazed not only with its efficiency but how incredibly quiet this machine is! I am amazed at how big this dryer is! I have been able to wash and dry complete bedding sets with no issues. Everything comes out perfectly dry, and you don't have to keep adding more time to get everything dry. For the most part, I use the regular cycle with wrinkle guard. We have animals and I really like how the lint trap is set up and collects the dog hair. The dial is very easy to use, as are the buttons. The app notifies you when the cycle is completed,
and there is also an alarm on the dryer. The whole system is user friendly and my kids can do their own laundry (but I still do it). I really like that there a rack to keep certain items separate, such as shoes, hats, sweaters, etc. Overall, I would highly recommend this dryer.

This Dryer has a lot of different features that help me understand how to get the best of the dryer. The front top of the dryer has a multi-control panel with a power button, a navigation dial to choose the cycle, and a start/pause button. This appliance came with Wi-Fi capabilities. I connected it to the SmartThings phone app and it alerts me when the cycle is done. There is a light inside the dryer that turns on when the door opens. I clean the lint filter with every new load. The dryer door comes with the option to be installed on the right or left. Mine opens to the right opposite the washer's door. The door has a child lock., I have been able to save my frequently used settings. I love that can start dryin from work or whatever I am from my phone. have been using this dryer for over a month now and I find it to be very efficient. The dryer is pretty quiet when drying. The inside is very spacious. I like that it alerts me when the load is done. I'm very happy with this dryer, I recommended to all my friends and family.

With a dryer, there's not been many new innovations in the space, but Samsung has found a way to change that. Being electric, power consumption is always a thought when drying. Luckily this dryer has some of the best energy efficiency ratings of dryers in it's class. Best of all is the smart app integrations which can alert you when the drying cycle is done so you can start your next load to dry. Being able to schedule on times also helps us conserve energy for off peak usage when electricity pricing for us is subsidized/cheaper.

I usually don't gush about a lot of products that I own, but I just have to say that we LOVE our new Samsung dryer (and also matching washer)! First off, this dryer has the same overall outer dimensions of our old one, but the internal capacity of this thing is insane! I had no idea when I was buying this that it was considered an "extra large" capacity dryer, but I'm sure glad that I made this accidental discovery. In our old dryer we could only fit one king comforter, and it would take several cycles to dry. In this new unit, we can put 2 comforters in and both come out dry and toasty!
Also, it should not go without saying that this dryer is super quiet! Our last dryer was really loud and would make banging noises, and would also vibrate so violently that it would literally move across the floor. This new dryer does none of that!
The other thing that I love about this set is that the washer and dryer are both WiFi connected -- so for those with a SmartThings hub you can connect it to your larger smart home. A pleasant surprise was that the washer and dryer will send push notifications when a cycle is complete -- but even cooler is that our Samsung TV will show a message on the TV screen for a few seconds! It does seem like a bonus to have Samsung products in the home as they are all loosely interconnected.
Another feature I loved was the Eco dry. This is a setting that you can use if you aren't concerned about the overall time you need to dry something. It will essentially use less energy to dry (saving you money), but will take up to 2x-3x longer.
One thing that I found interesting about this dryer that I've never seen elsewhere is that this one comes with a removable drying rack. So if you have something that you would prefer not to tumble around (delicate clothes or a pillow or something), you can just insert the rack and set the item on it. It will take longer to dry this way, but you won't chance damaging whatever you have on it.
Finally, this may sound silly, but the lint catcher is great! Our last dryer had a cheap flimsy lint catcher where lint would fall through because it would overflow so quickly, or the catcher itself wouldn't fit 100% snuggly in place over time. But with this unit, the lint catcher is super sturdy, and very large, so you will catch tons of lint without any getting through.
Overall, I am really happy with this purchase. I honestly don't have any cons to report, but if any issues arise I will certainly update my review.
