i was very disappointed to find the samsung keyboard is not backlit expensive as far as keyboards go, i find the samsung keyboard terribly lacking in the ability to actually use it on my "laptop' or in other non "table like" settings. the keyboard simply detatches as the hinging is like a vinyl connection. to top off the issues with the keyboard is that samsung chose not to provide some "stop gap" from the hard keyboard touching and rubbing on the screen itself. i've had more samsung products personally and familially than i can count and found their screens to be completely resilient and scratch free and did not install a screen protector feeling that's what this product helped to do. i was using the pad in sunlight and noticed the "window chip"

this is horrible. 1st it does not protect your tablet very well. 2nd i only had it one month and the keys started popping off.
3rd. there is no other type of cover for this tablet. you have to use this type or nothing....i hate it.

i got this to go with my new s7+ as it was a little bit bigger then my s7, and i strongly dislike the standard cover for these things so i wanted to try something different with the keyboard. but as other reviewers have said, the magnet is not strong enough so it just falls off. you can't pick it up when it's folded out either, the keyboard portion on his crumples the whole thing. but the back piece stays on very well and has a very strong magnet. beautiful design i really wanted to be as nice as it looks but not quite there yet i guess, i sent it back.

the trackpad is a good size, it is responsive to the touch as well as it's click function. the keys have a nice feel to them and their travel distance makes them comfortable to use. the only thing lacking for me is there is no key backlight.
lastly, flipping the keyboard back or simply pulling it off its magnetic connection makes using the tablet as a tablet a breeze.

Ordered from Samsung on sale but they lost my order so had to pay full price elsewhere. It's very expensive and not worth retail (maybe for ~$100 range just for the keyboard, but that's still also overpriced but no other options with that quality).
Almost no protection on edges. Magnet holding keyboard is weak so be careful (but makes removing keyboard easy). Wish they built in a bit more edge/corner protection when closed so that it can slide into bags without scratching the edges (which I've already done, so you will need a sleeve to put this into).
Too bad there are no good alternatives at reasonable prices. Would make a nice gift though.

the typing response is excellent and the ability to start dex with a dedicated key or when attaching the tablet is nice. that is where the compliments end. my most disappointment is that the magnet does not hold the two pieces together tightly. if you push the tablet down over 50% the connection gets lost. the keyboard is very expensive and at this price point it should be backlit. my favorite thing is the magnetic cover on the tablet it really holds on tightly, the kickstand is solid and the s pen is safely protected. i feel i paid a huge amount for a tablet stand since the keyboard cover design really sucks. samsung you have an inferior case on a 10 star awseomely splendid galaxy tablet.

i had bought another keyboard previously on amazon. it didn't have nearly half the functions this one does. using this one gives a true laptop like experience. i like how it's so compact and super easy to move around with. i got this on sale for 50% off and to me it's worth the buy. i wasn't a fan of the $199 which is why i went thru amazon. but i say save your money and time and just go with this one.

The Samsung S7+ keyboard is a nice addition to the tablet. It comes in two pieces. They both detach from each other. One piece can remain attached to the back of the tablet and can be used to prop it up. The keyboard has a Dex feature which I didn't particularly like, it can be disabled to allow the keyboard to be used without it. It is very easy to type on and has a track pad which makes it similar to a laptop. I liked the fact that it is very light and compact. The keyboard is durable when both pieces are used together and it also provides protection for the device. I wish the keyboard came in different colors.

I've tried this keyboard for several weeks and I liked it. It has an excellent quality, all the keys a pressing fine, has a nice feel and touch to them. The trackpad is a little small, but I got used to it in a few hours. I was amazed how the keyboard transforms the tablet into a full-blown PC where I could run the full office suite and do almost everything I do on my "big" laptop.

I'm really enjoying using the keyboard with our tablet! The portability is great and much easier to tote around then my laptop was. The keyboard cover is great for protecting the screen too. The keyboard makes typing a breeze! I was an online holiday shopping whiz this year and having a keyboard on the tablet was a game changer!

The ease of use for this keyboard is amazing the keys feel roomy to the touch. The keys feel natural and easy to use. the touch pad is nice and responsive which makes it perfect for games and web navigation. I have always been a fan of technology. The Samsung Tab s7 + keyboard is definitely an upgrade. The configuration and user-friendly features are the charms.
The keys on the keyboard looks steady and feels good to touch/tap.it is minimalist and easy to use.
I have been using this as my daily driver to type my emails and write notes.
I would love to recommend this keyboard to my friends as well.

The alignment for magnetic pins can be improved.

i absolutely love my cover/keyboard. when using it, feels like i'm actually using a laptop. however, surprisingly, i have notice some small scratches on my screen. i keep my tablet inside the case at all times and clean it with an eye glass cloth. i thought the keyboard would provide some level of screen protection, but now i'm wondering if the keyboard is scratching my screen.

When I first saw this product being available, I had to have it, try it out to its limits and everything that it had to offer. Coming from graphic design field Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 Plus is haven for someone who needs some work to be done on the go or with keyboard addition you can use it as laptop.
This tablet comes with high more than high definition pixel ratio of 2800 x1752 and 120 he screen refresh rate, which is very important for movies, games, graphics. It comes with multi sensor pen which is great addition for someone like me that works in photoshop and can draw, digital drawing is very important for me and this tablet is amazing for this.

You have option to use keyboard or not which gives you great choice of using tablet outside or in kitchen while cooking or for your homework or work when using keyboard. The S7+ is a beast on it's own, but this really takes it to the next level! If you don't know about DeX, go check that out. But this keyboard, coupled with DeX, take the tablet to the next level!
First, the track pad is a great size and very easy to use. It feel fluid and I have had no issues using it.
The keys actually have great travel for the size and are pretty nice to type on. Are they as nice as my desktop mechanical keyboard? No. Are they better than my work issued Dell laptop? Oh my yes yes yes!
The other killer feature is that it has a kickstand and the keyboard is detachable! If I am going to write notes, I pop off the keyboard and just use the kickstand to prop up the tablet to make it easier to write.
Is this expensive? Yes. But, you get what you pay for. This is a MUST with the S7+. I honestly can't imagine the tablet without it!

This pandemic has definitely presented challenges for work and working from home. This new Samsung Keyboard is the perfect companion to my Samsung tablet. Not only does it provide a lightweight option for a cover and screen protector, but it also is essential to converting a tablet into an essential and functional piece of equipment that enables me to get my job done.
This keyboard really enables me to use my tablet as I would a laptop. I am able to be just as productive as if I were in front of a PC. Emails have always been an issue for me when using a tablet because I am limited by how fast I can type. With this additional keyboard, those limitations are removed. The touchpad is nice as well. I often find myself touching the screen, out of habit, but am learning how useful the touchpad is here.
Also, I think it is important to note, that I haven't had any issues when using the tablet as a tablet, with the keyboard opened and wrapped around the back, even though my fingers are hitting the keys based upon my grip.
This is definitely an essential purchase!

I owned the Tab S6 keyboard and it was so tiny that I'm very excited to be using this new keyboard. The size is perfect like a standard keyboard with all function keys available. The only thing missing is a backlit keyboard for doing work in the dark. Overall the keys feel snappy and I'm VERY glad to have a large backspace key now instead of something tiny I can't press sometimes (looking at you TAB S6 keyboard!).

This is my first time using an android tablet and keyboard from Samsung. At first, I was confused about the functionality. The keyboard doesn't come with any written instructions except a picture of how to attach the tablet. I was hoping for some basic use instructions, but there was none in the package. After playing around with the keyboard and watching some You Tube tutorials, I learned how to use the keyboard and how to use the Dex function. The keyboard can be used in Dex mode, which is basically like a PC. The case has two pieces, front and back. These pieces attach to the tablet, one piece acts as a stand which has several positions and the other is the keyboard which attaches to the side of the tablet and makes it like a laptop. When these pieces are combined they fully cover and protect the tablet and S Pen. When using Dex mode, the tablet screen is displayed slightly different and has the look of a desktop computer. The keyboard has several shortcuts and functions. It also has a pad which allows you to scroll and use swiping to activate functions. The keyboard has nice size keys and is comfortable to type on. Although you can get the same Dex functions without the keyboard it is nice to have if you are typing a lot, it keeps you from typing directly on the tablet screen. I like the functionality, but would say that better instructions on the use should be included.

This is the perfect complement to the S7+. This is by far the best keyboard I have used with a tablet. It has more of a feel of a computer keyboard. The keys are same size as a keyboard so it makes it easier to type. The keys also have intuitive function, which makes it easier. And it is super lightweight!

more function then protection, ok for me because i hate adding bulk to a sleek tablet & it's generally not in the way of anything more hazardous than kitchen splashes. minimal profile, great magnetic attach, perfect kickstand hinge and for me the stylus garage over the charger is much better than the flat back with a hole & pen store elsewhere. don't love the touchpad, but i may get more used to it. love the magnetic attach/dettach of the kb, which i don't actually use that often, which brings me to: i wish this had something to protect the screen when not using the keyboard, since i love the back of this case. with the magnetic kb attach, a separate simple face plate attaching in the same way would be fantastic! discounted bundle price ok, but would have balked at the list price.

Don't let the sleek look fool you. This keyboard has it all! Simply docking the Galaxy Tab S7+ into the keyboard magically turns an amazing tablet into an over the top mini computer! Complete with a touch pad and full keyboard, you can do just about anything you need to with this super portable combo! In addition to some android specific keys, this keyboard actually has the full set of Function keys that a normal keyboard has - how is that for a top-notch combination?!? 80 keys with multiple functions, ensure that you are not limited at all in what you want to type or do on your Samsung Galaxy Tab S7+. Yet the light weight of the keyboard - a mere 1.11 lbs - means that it is light enough that I can toss it into my purse and not even notice a difference. In the past I have always considered a tablet keyboard to be more of an optional accessory. But this one makes the tablet even more complete. It changes the entire function of the tablet. it's not fully covered edge to edge. simply attach to the case ( case itself has strong magnetic part), and what's important to me, is not to lose the stylus that needs to be attached in the back and keeps secure. and this case does that. with this keyboard case, my samsung galaxy s7+ turned into temporary laptop. interesting! however, only downside, i accidentally keep pressing those keys every time when i flip the case to reveal the screen. heck! it is what it is.

just after i received the cover there was a new fw update. i tried and failed 3 times to apply it, the notification then stopped. i noticed the touchpad was dead. i then called samsung. after i had to call back a third time and after several troubleshooting steps including him obviously using the wrong manual (he kept insisting that i use the fn and f5 keys to enable/disable the touchpad, s7+ cover uses the f6 key for this) he determined the the cover needed to be returned. i was supposed to return the cover for a refund and then purchase a new one (and go through the waiting period again) for the full price and then call back to try to get the 50% deal applied so they could refund me.
it's a great product when it's working. so good luck and i hope your cover never has issues.

overall this keyboard does most things right when paired with the galaxy s7+. keys feel good and respond well. track pad works as expected and is an acceptable size. also like how the keyboard doubles as a screen protector when shut.
the miss is not having a keyboard backlight. makes typing at night or in low light situations nearly impossible, especially if you go between the touchscreen and keyboard, having to search for home row every time. for a keyboard that costs this much, that is a huge mistake especially when competing products like the surface go / pro devices have keyboards that cost less, have better trackpads, and have backlit keys!
i really want to like this keyboard, but can't justify the cost for the features miss.

The keyboard has a nice trackpad and serves as a cover for the Tab S7+. It has a built in slot for the S pen that ensures it gets put in the right spot to get charged. I like the ability to easily remove the keyboard when you just want to use it as a tablet. I wish that the keyboard itself came with a cover to allow you to just fold the keyboard over, without having to always remove it.
Overall, we really like our new Tab S7+ Keyboard. It is a great pairing to the Tab S7+.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S7+ Keyboard is very easy to set up, it looks very sleek, trendy and stylish. i love the fact that it came with mother 13 intuitive function keys that aligns with my Samsung PC at home. Its touch pad is big and can accommodate more than one of my fingers and it does have an ergonomic design that makes it easier to type. This keyboard is very efficient as i was able to utilize it on the go because of how lightweight it is. Its cover secures the S pen that came the S7+ tablet and is magnetic as well. The fact that this keyboard is detachable is a plus for me as it turned out to be very convenient. It felt like i was using my PC as it made it easier to type and also scroll through. It serves as a cover for my tablet and a holder for the S pen. I love its quality, efficiency, portability and simplicity. I honestly will recommend this product

Tab S7+ keyboard is what allows this product could be best laptop replacement and sometimes better. I have been amazed by how good the button placement and the touch pads are! Despite the small size and thickness, the keyboard really takes Tab S7+ productivity to the next level. Also, because I can easily detach it when I want to use Tab S7+ as tablet to stream video on the go, this plays great role for me to choose this as everyday work and play device. I was bit worried if the back cover might fall off but so far it is very sturdy! Even though this keyboard is bit expensive , it is a must choice that I will not regret at all.

The keyboard and trackpad for the Samsung Tablet S7+ has a very nice touch and response. With regard to the trackpad, sometimes it is easier to just use the touchscreen. Nevertheless, it is a nice feature to have to help eliminate fingerprints on the screen.
Due to the Keyboard, I have found myself gravitating to my tablet more frequently then my laptop due to size, weight, and general flexibility. The keyboard addition really increases the types of things you can do with a tablet. Emails, web searching, and general productivity tasks are able to be completed with ease whereas before, I would only use my tablet for what I would consider lighter weight tasks.
The fact that the keyboard doubles as a cover for the tablet is even better. I have found that it is lightweight and doesn't add any unnecessary bulk to the overall function and design of the tablet. If you are using the tablet and feel that the keyboard is getting in the way, you can snap it off since it is magnetically attached to the tablet. I think this is a must-have for anyone considering a Samsung S7 tablet.

The Samsung Galaxy S7+ Keyboard is one made of high quality material. I really like how lightweight this keyboard is and it holds well when connected with the S7+ tablet. I really like how easy it is to connect the Keyboard to the tablet, how smooth the feel of the keys are, the high gloss design of the keyboard, and how well it handles under normal usage when at home or when you are on the go. This keyboard is a must have! It really unlocks more potential of the Tab S7+ making it work like a laptop. The backing and keyboard attach using magnets and snap into place and gives a better grip when handling. I really like how the stylus storage on the back lifts the tablet off the surface just enough so that you can pick it up with ease as well. Along with it being used for storage it also gives your fingers something to hold on to while walking with the Tab S7+. The kickstand provides multiple positions on how the screen can lie even without the keyboard attached. As for the keyboard, it really gives the tablet a power user mode with enabling Samsung DeX to use as a computer interface.
All around the keyboard case is very nice quality, sturdy kickstand, strong magnetic hold with no slipping, great camera lens exposure and protection of the whole Tab S7+. You won't regret adding it to your setup!

The keyboard here is amazing. It is extremely easy to use. The back cover and the keyboard attach magnetically. The back cover and keyboard can be used independently from one another. The back cover kick stand is amazing to use for videos or gaming. The keyboard is responsive and key clicks feel good. It is just the right size that my hands do not get hung up on each other when typing fast. I like that the keyboard is powers completely by the tablet and does not require a separate charge. Setup is easy as there is not set up or pair required. One click onto the tablet and it works with no need to pair the devices. They keyboard is a must have if you plan on using the tablet for any kind of work with reports. Makes long typing a breeze and takes the stress out of working on the go.

This keyboard is phenomenal compared to the bluetooth keyboard cases I have used in the past. In the past bluetooth keyboards had to routinely be repaired in order to work with the tablet and were slow on transferring data especially if you were a fast typer. Now with Samsung S7+ keyboard all you have to do is align the magnetic tabs to the tablet and the magnets oull the tablet and keyboard together and you are good to go. Once attached you can immeidately start typing on the keyboard. It is extremely fast and is able to keep up with my typing so that i dont have to pause and wait for the tablet to catch up. The keyboard also allows you to adjust the angle of the screen so it is easier to see and it will hold its position. When not is use it is easy to detach from the tablet or you can close the keyboard over the screen so it protects the screen when traveling. There is also a magnetic back cover that protects the non screen side of the tablet and it provides a kickstand that stays at whatever angle you position it. Very smart design by samsung all around.

My husband and I were in need of new laptops. Ours were both close to ten years old and on the fritz. We couldn't decide between another laptop, computer, or tablet and having this keyboard to snap onto the tablet makes it the perfect tablet lap top combo! The keyboard snaps on very easily and stays in place. It connected fast and so far we have not had it disconnect at all. Our hands fit comfortably on the keyboard and the pad makes it easy to navigate around the tablet while in DEX (desktop) mode. All in all were very happy with the functionality, speed and design. I would definitely recommend this product and am very thankful to have been able to purchase it at a discounted price!
