I needed to have a removable battery again. I finally got fed up with carrying around extra chargers and having to WAIT for the phone to recharge. Anyone who has had additional batteries knows that there is no substitute for being able to swap to a fresh battery and BAM!! You're back at 100%... Immediately! NOT after 15 minutes of having to deal with a phone chained to a weight or to a wall.

I chose this phone because it was the last one that had replaceable batterys. I don't like that it required a sim card a d when i first got the phone it would shut down at about 40 percent battery life and wouldn't turn back on untill I plugged it in. I replaced the battery with a new one and that fixed the problem.it still eats the battery too fast but i do like the features.

i have had to replace a battery .....not really concerned about that ....what concerns me is that for the amount of money i spent on this device i shouldnt be going through any problems with the device as long as it was kept safe and sound and wasnt abused like other peoples phones....i had a product from a 3 letter chinese company...... it was my very first smart phone it lasted for 5 whole years before my cousin broke it......this phone i dont let anyone touch and it decides that it just wants to not turn on and when it does it may turn on to the odin screen or it may get stuck during the bootlace process....anyway it shouldnt because i dont do risky things on my device....so i am in the mind set and i truely believe that this is a design that was intentional.....unless i can come up with a positive fix i will stand by this statement.

This phone is my mobile office. As a real-estate agent, I am always on the go. It has not failed me yet, why i wait for the new Note brand, whichever it may be. But, i use my stylus daily. Love the cut and paste features. I have the app cam scanner, which is helps me tremendously. I have only replaced my battery once. I talk about this phone so much, my daughter traded her love for the IPhone to get the note 4. LOVE my Note..i just hooked it up seamlessly with my new Samsung gear S3 smart watch.

Best Phone I Ever Had

So this is coming from someone relatively new to smartphones. I switched from a phone that still had a full keyboard to a Galaxy Note 2 around 4 years ago. I upgraded to the Note 4 after my 2 years was up because I really liked the S Pen. I know I never used the S Pen to its full potential but it was very handy in writing out my shopping list. I loved being able to change the colors (black background with light blue letters) and scratching off each item as I shopped. I also integrated into the Note series back when "Phablets" were not cool. BUT LOOK HOW FAR WE'VE COME!!! It seems like everyone wants a huge phone now, and now I don't feel so awesome whipping out my big boy. (I'm a woman by the way!) Anyways I've never reviewed a phone before so I'm not sure how else to explain how awesome it was to have. But it was definitely awesome. My only cons about this phone, are that about a year and a half into having this phone the battery just completely gave up on its own existence. I went from about 6 hours of heavy use to about an hour. AND THAT'S BEING GENEROUS!!! Now I made sure to close out all other apps and stop other apps from running in the background, but with no success. I was even getting stranded an hour from home with no gps except on my dead phone, driving around and wasting gas until I found familiar surroundings. I had a car charger but my usb cord was kind of janky, so no luck there. Also it would die at like 30%, come on Samsung! I finally ordered a new battery and thankfully all my problems with battery issues have been solved. My second complaint is that sometimes the screen will freeze. This might be my fault since I am a heavy phone user playing a ton of games on my phone all day long. I've tried switching more things over to my SD card but that hasn't really helped. I know I could probably watch a video on how to fix it but meh. All in all it hasn't really been a big issue but it is annoying when it randomly happens. I'm almost sad to be giving this phone up for an S8+ (already pre-ordered YAY!) especially since it doesn't have the S pen. I guess I'll live but Samsung I want you to know if you're reading this, I was really looking forward to the Note 7. I'm still loyal to the brand, because hey we all make mistakes sometimes. But PLEASE come out with a Note 8 or something new with a S pen. I'm going to miss it so much especially since it gave me an advantage in some game apps, heh heh. Hope this review helped someone out there.

I used the Note 4 for over almost 2 years and pretty hard. Charged it fully every night whether it needed it or not and it performed with the original battery really well for about 20 months. Then I got a hardware problem, and while it worked, it had problems so Samsung agreed to fix it for a reasonable price. Hopefully it will come back good as new, because I like it better than the S7 that I replaced it with. I am not that impressed with the S7 because the screen is small and the FF camera is only 12MP. It has some nice features that the Note 4 does not have, but at 16MP, the camera in the Note 4 is great and takes great videos, with a nice large screen and it will fit in my pocket, so not too big. The built in stylus is also a plus for many reasons. I would recommend the Note series to anyone. It's a winner!

Still an excellent performsl the main thing I like about it the bootloader is still unlocked I had a Galaxy S7 I liked it but I could not root it the bootloader is locked on the galaxy s7 for sprint if the boot loaders are going to be lock on the new galaxys then i will have to switch to a brand that will have the boot loader unlock I know rooting the phone takes away the warranty but that's okay with me I have to have my phone rooted if I paid full price for my phone I should have my bootloader unlocked these phone companies are crazy trying to control us when we paid for the phone if they gave it to me that would be different but I paid for it I should be able to root it it'd be like buying a car and can't paint my car or put another motor in it

Note 4 is the best in its family and i will never go to the Note 5 or anything other phone that u make that doesn't allow me to remove the battery or SD card. If i wanted a non-Android i would have bought one. Instead doing something like locking the battery and SD card you should be creating a more voice interactive phone that can understand you more based on information collected thru ur phone (where you've been, apps you use, people you text, websites you visit ect.)

I couldn't imagine leaving home without this beast on board. It's packed with all kinds of unique features that are very....... how should I say this?, hospitable,inviting, and at your service, this product was definitely designed with you and I (the customer)in mind. In my opinion the Samsung S and note models are indeed the future of cellular and mobile technology. I mean with the note 4 in particular including the s pen along with all its tasks it can perform with the applications and software integrated into it's designed samsung is awesome. I used I phone for about a year and a half. It's easy to say I wasted my money and my time samsung's devices just simply make all other (SMART PHONE'S) seem like old rotary dialer phones in shells with all kinds of different but pointless designs.

It has amazing speakers and great screen. I invested in a Note 4 for the bigger size because I have vision problems. Having an SD Micro is awesome. Sprint service is really good. It's a little big so you have to get use to it, but once you do, you'll never go back to the smaller screen.

I invested in a Note 4 for the bigger size because I use my phone so much for work. I previously had an S4. The larger size made working in spreadsheets a possibility. It also gave me better access to other apps I use for work, because I could navigate with the S Pen. The camera quality is top notch. The ability to remove the battery and use an SD Micro was invaluable when I recently ran into some issues. With the help of Sprint and Samsung, I received a new Note 4 to replace the version that had issues. I am so grateful to have a fully functioning phone again. S Health is a fabulous feature. It has so many trackers, and with the help of an apk available through Samsung, has export capability, which thrilled my doctor. One tracker that is missing is a medication tracker and reminder. It would be nice if Samsung could work out partnership with My Fitness Pal and Fitbit. S Note is nice, the addition of templates is great. It would be great if there were a table template as well. The Galaxy experience just gets better.

I love my Note 4, only problem i have ran into is that towards the end of the life span of my phone the battery is not very reliable. Other than that i love it, the size of the screen is great, I love the S-pen and how smoothly everything runs. Will be upgrading too the Note 7 as soon as it releases.

The Note is the workhorse of the Samsung family. If you use your phone all the time and need speed power and reliability this is the phone for you. Pros: great screen, camera, stylus, good processor when released, 3 Gb ram, removable battery, micro SD card slot, ir blaster Cons: got rid of second antenna!!! This means you have to hang up the phone to use mobile data. I don't mind paying extra to have this feature on my phone. Note 3 had it. Power and volume buttons in awkward places, battery needed to be replaced in a year (heavy user but follow all battery suggestions) mono speaker

If anything I use my Note 4 just a little to much. So much that I rarely even use my laptop anymore. I love the capability of streaming Youtube directly to my PS4 since it makes looking for videos so much simpler than using the PS4 controller. Taking a screen shot is a blast especially since I like to save a lot of things to look at later. I can wait to see what to see what the newer Notes have in store for it's customer's.

This phone is great, even better than the Note 5. The only reason I will switch phones is if the Note 6 (Note 7) blows this away, and that won't be easy to do.

Used it for 2 years. And it was the best phone, battery lasted all day while using it frequently. Streaming and playing games was great with the big screen.

Samsung Galaxy Note 4 is the best phone I've had so far... and I've gone through a couple of phones in my lifetime. True, I'm not supet techie but, this phone has features for every need a normal everyday joe can have and then some. Go online and look it up.... you'll see what I mean!!!!!

This is by far my best Samsung experience. I upgraded from a galaxy S5 which was a very nice phone in my opinion, but the Samsung Galaxy note 4 has by far exceeded my expectations. At first i was a little worried that it was too big, but after getting used to it i love the larger display. The quick response of the screen makes texting and scrolling a breeze. Also the latest android software was a nice touch as well. I would definitely recommend this phone.

The note 4 has many great features I use daily for both personal and work use. I work in a restaurant as a Chef. The ability to use spreadsheats is a big plus for me when I do my weekly order and the s pen makes it really easy. I do it all from my phone instead of having to carry around a heavy clip board and hand write everything. I also write and store recipes using the s note app.

So i am currently using the note 4. I know that the note 5 is out however the store only had 4s and i didnt want to wait. With that said i love the note 4. The fact that i can change the battery is good. Cause i make my phones last a long time. Instead of getting a 5 i will wait for the 6 and continue using the 4. The features are similar to the s5 and the ability to shrink down apps to have many apps on one window more so than split screen is great.
