Breaks fast - poor quality

i loved my powerbot, but the this brush breaks quickly and made it useless. i replaced the whole brush several times before i finally gave up and stopped using the vacuum completely. after a year of sitting in the corner i gave it away. such a huge bummer.

Useless expensive robot without parts

these vacuums are soem of the most expensive out there and yet they have no parts available. these brushes are not permanent items, they are required to be replaced occasionally yet samsung has none available. i ordered this model which is not even the right one as i have the more expensive model but i read how you can make some adjustments and this one will work - unfortunately i get a reply after ordering that this one is not available either. read the reviews as they are all the same. do not buy. there is no customer support available

we bought a r7040 powerbot for my +80 yr old parents and was so impressed with it we purchased a second one.... that a lot of dough to put out to all of a sudden find out it's possibly obsolete 2yrs later...
so, the hair wrapping around the brush bearing isn't a deal breaker for me. it happens to the best of bot manufacturers. but not being able to find a replacement brush is... are these units truely obsolete?

the bearing on the end is open in an area designed to collect tiny particles, and it gums up and fails unbelievably quickly. in the attached photo, the white bits are melted plastic from the "floating" ring of white plastic around the brush. i've got a vacuum i spent hundreds of dollars on that i'm already shopping to replace, and i can't even buy a replacement brush, let alone get a warranty replacement. this product is the result of little to no product testing. and it shows.

Brush Bearing Fails

i love the vacuum. however, the bush bearing keeps getting bound up with hair and then failing with no good way to clean out the hair. the bearing stops spinning creating heat with it spinning in the rubber boot causing plastic to melt. i've had 2 brushes now fail, i don't think i should have to keep buying brushes due to a design flaw.
