purchased wv60m9900aw/a5 and after 3 years, the weight balance split in two. absolutely amazing. quoted a $975 repair bill on a $1475 purchase.
the authorized samsung repair co. in my area didn't event want to talk to me. "check if there's a recall." ummm...wut? there are no recalls on samsung front-load washers.
skimpy warranty, skimpy customer service.
what's the point of my buying an appliance that's supposed to last 8 years, when it lasts 3?
will go lg for future purchases. their warranty is no better, but their reliability ratings kill samsung's.

i used the top twice and never again. a sensor is dampened, water is lost and nothing from the washing machine can be used for 3 to 4 days until the sensor dries. the technician told me that it is a design error and despite changing the sensor will continue to get wet. it will never work

when we bought it, we love all the features they have offered. however, after 2 years it make a loud jet engine noise when it is in spin cycle. it finally broke down after 3 years. we request for service and it turn out the bearing worn out. the service technician came out and cannot find the part for it because it is new unit. cannot believe it happen to such a new unit. our previous maytag neptune washer last us 10 years and still running at our house in california. i would be hesitate to buy another samsung product. think again, it wont last

ordered machine on march 30th, delivery was delayed two times finally got a call that this model is discontinued, and they cannot provide this model. i was told samsnug will send an email suggesting a substitute, never received any. called them back, i was told a supervisor will call me back, 5 days later, still no call. will not recommend samsung to my friends after this kind of treatment.

had the washer for less than 3 months and it's a nightmare to do laundry. the upper washer drains into the lower washer and even after the cycle is completed there is still water leftover under the upper washer tub. then i have to start the lower washer just to get rid if the water dumped in there by the upper washer. energy and water efficiency goes out the window when i'm forced to do that evey time i do laundry. i wish i knew how bad the washer is before buying, and hiw bad samsung is treating their customers.

Plastic Computer Screen Cracked during Self Clean

it was working great - so nice having "2 machines in 1". the machine alerted us that it needed to "self clean". we ran it in self clean mode and as it was finishing, i heard a noise - the plastic cracked along the side. the machine continues to work, but the screen has a terrible crack through it. so disappointed. we haven't even had this machine for a year. i have been getting the run around from samsung's certified repair company and have been told that it isn't covered by the warranty even though the machine did it to itself. be warned!

i love the washer, we've had samsung for years and decided to get them again, but upgrade a bit with the flexwash option. it's worked great, then last week, i was doing a delicate load in the top and the inner lid glass shattered! this has never happened, but they are not fixing it. they are blaming us for the damage - they said it's my bras that broke this glass...ladies have you ever washed your bras and broken a glass lid with them? ya me neither....i hope they come around and fix this.

This makes my life easier. Almost every day I am using either the small washer on the top or the large front loader below. Often I divide a load and wash the delicates ddoabove and everything else below. I would like a louder signal.

For the past 4 months, every time I used the top washer, it stops working and produces a error that doesn't have anything to do with what's happening to the washer and cannot use it for 3-4 days (neither the top nor the bottom washer). I wasted my money calling a repair person that didn't know what the problem was, Samsung repair person came twice and could not find a fix for the problem.
DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY, BUY ANOTHER MACHINE.

I bought this washer last year during black Friday and have been satisfied with it's use and versatility. The small top loader is especially useful for washing whites which I generally don't have enough off to need the bottom loader for. The washer is very quiet and energy efficient. I'm hoping to add the flexdry to complete the set this year.

I bought my flex washing machine 11-7-2017, biggest mistake I ever done, my first samsung and last. I just want to let the people that gave the machine 5 stars, did you know that if your top small machine says warm it actually washing it with cold, also do you use the bleach dispenser when you wash your whites on the bottom washer, did you know that your whites rinse with clorox instead of washing with clorox, when your wash cycle ends and starts rinsing you will see that the clorox never went in the wash it's still there and it started dispensing it when it started rinsing with the fabric softener at the same time. everytime I washed my infant grandchilds whites she kept getting rashes , I couldn't figure out why , when my duagther would wash her whites with the same detergents in her machine nothing, that's how I realized what was happening because I watched the whole cycle. I knew about the top machine washing with cold even though it says warm but this one is the most stupid design I have ever seen. who is heard of rinsing with clorox.
unfortunately I have called serviceman twice already they are telling the machine works fine because they don't know any better, tomorrow another serviceperson is coming because samsung trouble shooter didn't know anything about this machine like everyone else and wants to send another person hoping they will figure what a terrible machine they invented.
so please check everything I said and grade accordingly. unless you don't care that your cloths are not getting clean and your whites most likely smell like combination of fabric softener and clorox.

We've had this washer since June and the top washer has consistently leaked from the fabric softener compartment. Well, not actually leaked but overflows--the water shoots right up and over during the wash cycle. The only time it hasn't leaked is if you leave the fabric softener compartment empty, then there isn't enough liquid in there to overflow when the water starts back washing into the compartment during the wash. I've watched it happen several times now. "Repairs" have been carried out twice, the last time the motherboard of the top washer was replaced. The repairman informed me it is a known design flaw and assured me the new motherboard would fix the issue. Ha! For being one of the most expensive washers you can buy, they should have made sure it actually works as intended. I've never been so disappointed in a Samsung product. As their offices are closed on Sunday I'll be calling them tomorrow to see how they plan to rectify this unacceptable product and situation.
